Hey! Im Hailey, a upcoming senior at Hewitt-Trussville High School—but there’s so much more to me. I’m enthusiastic about going to college and perusing my dreams. I am passionate in real estate and anything marketing! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading new articles, creating home vlogs for myself to look at in the future and most of all trying my best to have a successful future (even though that can be stressful). I hope to earn scholarships so that I could be the first in my family to attend and graduate college right out of high school. The school I would love to go to isn’t affordable right now with my family’s financial status so having a scholarship will take some weight off my shoulders and give me an opportunity to succeed and show other young minority girls they can do it too! Starting high school I struggle with mental health and my grades reflected. I honestly had no hope in becoming anything important to society. I was in and out of mental facilities my freshman year and had seen 7 different therapist and doctors by the end of my sophomore year, finally during of my junior year I started to be able to manage my health issues better. I saw the light at the end of the tunnel even though I never thought I would. I hope someone can see me as someone that overcame a struggle and is trying for better despite the challenges. A scholarship would not only help me go to college but help me succeed because knowing someone took a chance on me and cared about my future means the world to me! I hope to make everyone proud with your help!
