Hi there! My name is Laghima Gupta, and as of the summer of 2024, I am to go into 11th grade at the age of 15. Throughout my life, I have gained many interests. The ones I’ve settled on, as of now, would be public speaking, computer sciences, mathematics, psychology, and more! I mean to aim high in my future, in order to help people, which leads to me applying for scholarships on Bold.org. This helps me to increase my education opportunities and help people navigate our technological world. As someone who has grown up in a world surrounded by technology, with both parents working in the field, I seek to make an impact with the education opportunities I’ve been given, which is being a student in high school, many different technological classes and camps, and more. I want to one day create programs that help other people learn about the world, and this belief does not only hold truth for people in America, but also people around the world, such as my home country: India. I have witnessed so many people, my age and younger, who do not have access to such opportunities that me and my peers have, and I wish to change that one day through technological innovation, new softwares, and new forms of artificial intelligence that harness the power of education. As of right now, in my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, reading books, participating in public speaking competitions, researching for my school’s Model UN Club as an officer, coding online, and volunteering for my nearby library, which I love very much!
