My name is Greyson Geisness and I am an aspiring musician. I have been playing instruments since I was three, after watching Little Einsteins and promptly begging my mom for a violin. My life has been filled with music since then. I am so grateful for the opportunities, benefits and joy that music has given me, and I want to be able to share that with others. The pursuit of my musical goals has led me to Interlochen Arts Academy where I work passionately towards honing my skills. I am so thankful for the generous scholarship that they have offered me so that I could receive such rigorous training. I am also thankful to all the others that have helped me pursue this difficult path, including the Virtu Foundation for loaning me an instrument, the Castleman Quartet Program for helping me afford outstanding guidance over the summers, my instructors, my family and all of the others who have supported me and helped get this far. Currently, I am working on getting into a music conservatory and hope to be able to get a Master of Music degree so that I can really make an impact on the world through beautiful music.
