Hello! I am a PA-S1 at Duke University interested in pursuing a primary care-related field in medicine. I am passionate about working with underserved and marginalized populations as a future Physician Assistant. As an undergraduate, I balanced work, school, and a weekly overnight EMT shift in rural central Virginia. After college graduation, I completed an AmeriCorps year of service working with high-risk HIV/AIDS populations in the D.C. metro area. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, spending time with loved ones, and improving my Spanish!

  Mission:

  Western Albemarle Rescue Squad was formed in 1978 by citizens of the western end of the county in response to a desire for an ambulance that did not have to respond from the city. From that origin, we have grown to an organization that staffs an in-house crew 24 hours a day and provides Basic and Advanced Life Support services to the areas we cover. In addition, we provide extrication, search and rescue, and water rescue services throughout Albemarle County and the local region. We run over 2,100 calls per year, including mutual aid with several neighboring agencies.
