Bold PointsBio
I am a hardworking, passionate student just starting out in college. I will be majoring in Psychology with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies when I graduate in 2025. Outside of school some of my hobbies are reading, swimming, and rock climbing. I also have done a bunch of social justice and political work, mainly in the climate justice world but also in lgbt+ rights and women's rights.
Some random yet important things to know about me are...
1. I have my boat driver's license, and love to spend time on the lake.
2. One of my favorite foods is Pad Thai.
3. I prefer baking over cooking but most of the time I just want to be the one eating the food.
4. I'm queer.
5. I swam across Lake Coeur d'Alene in the summer of 2021. I want to do this again but swim both ways next time.
6. I create monthly (and yearly) Spotify playlists for new music.

In my senior list of high school, I wrote out 18 things that were on my bucket list. Now it's been two years and not everything that I wrote at 17 is still something I want to do, so it's been narrowed down to 11. Of the 18 things on that list, two of them have been checked off so far- shaving my head, and learning to drive a stick. Compared to the other things on this list, they are probably the easiest ones to complete. They don't need much time, energy, or planning to do. But they aren't small either.
Shaving my head is by far my favorite of the two. I first did it in early July of 2020, a month after I graduated high school. My three best friends had been gently pushing me towards this for a few months, but I was pretty anxious to take the step and do it. I had always had plenty of long red hair, and the idea of it all being gone was intimidating. The only reason that I even ended up doing it, was when my friends made the point that because I was taking a gap year and covid existed if I hated how it looked, it's not like I would be seeing many people. While maybe not the best reason for doing it, it worked and I still have my super short fiery red hair today, and don't plan on changing it anytime soon!
