Bio

I am a student with a strong passion for personal finance, economic empowerment, and educational equity. As a South Sudanese refugee, I have experienced firsthand how access to education can transform lives, create opportunities, and inspire meaningful change. These experiences have shaped my commitment to using education as a tool for individual and community development. My interest in economics and finance stems from a desire to understand how financial knowledge and sound policies can improve people's lives. I believe that financial literacy is essential for helping individuals make informed decisions, achieve stability, and build a better future for themselves and their families. Beyond academics, I am committed to leadership, service, and advocacy. Through student leadership roles and community engagement, I have worked to promote cultural understanding, support fellow students, and encourage access to educational opportunities. These experiences have strengthened my dedication to addressing barriers that prevent young people from reaching their full potential. In the future, I aspire to contribute to the development of education policies that expand access to quality learning in underserved and underdeveloped communities. By combining my interests in finance, economics, and public policy, I hope to help create systems that empower students, reduce educational inequalities, and foster long-term social and economic growth.
