I am a registered nurse and aspiring physician driven by a deep commitment to caring for underserved and marginalized populations. My background includes both civilian and Army Critical Care Nursing. I am currently supporting veterans in a role that navigates VA disability claim barriers. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the systemic challenges many patients face, and reinforced my desire to pursue medicine as a means of advocacy and service. As I continue my academic preparation for medical school, I am motivated by the goal of becoming a physician who delivers compassionate, equitable care while working to improve access and outcomes for those most often overlooked.
