Hello! My name is Goretti! I am a pilot, a life learner, and a leader, interested in earning scholarships for college and beyond. Through my higher education, I want to make a positive difference in my life and the lives of others. 🎯 Life Goals 🎯 ✦ Everywhere I go, I want to positively impact the lives of others. ✦ Due to my interests in foreign languages, including Japanese, I would love an opportunity to travel to Japan not only to strengthen my conversational skills but to expand my network. ✦ To support low-income families and children in the foster care systems, I want to work at or start my own non-profit organization to financially and academically support the families and the children. ✦ I want to earn the necessary hours, certifications, and ratings needed in order to become a professional airline pilot. I am currently working toward my private pilot license even through the coronavirus pandemic. 🎯 My Interests 🎯 ✦ Literature - From the great classics to contemporary authors, I enjoy close reading and discovering the intricacies ✦ Various Art Forms - While taking a course offered to accepted St. Michael's College students, I am taking the time to hone my photography skills in order to better document the world that I live in. My photographs depict the world through my self-aware and politically conscious mind. ✦ Social Justice - As the President of the NAACP Youth Council in Montclair, NJ, I do my best to highlight the issues within our community and how to solve them.
