Since freshman year of high school, I've been an active member of multiple clubs and organizations in my school such as SkillsUSA, Speech and Debate, and our school Mentorship program. I love getting to be a leader and role model within my student body and competing in academic competitions. I've gone to national competition for SkillsUSA (NSLC 2019) and broken in Speech and Debate tournaments, as well as mentored multiple freshmen since my junior year. I've achieved board positions within my clubs such as Parliamentarian and Vice President. I have a lovely boyfriend who's currently a student at Western Governors University also studying Education and working full-time, and we're both very supportive of each other's schooling and goals, as well as making sure the other takes needed breaks and takes care of their own mental health. For years I've also been a lover of activism for both LGBT+, BIPOC, and gender rights and equality. I love helping spread (accurate) information and resources to get my peers involved in making a positive change in the world and the satisfaction of helping others. :) I myself am Latin, queer, and non-binary. I am proud to use my experiences to aid other people in their struggles. I am currently living in Houston with my partner and attending the University of Houston as a History major with a minor in Education in order to achieve my goals of teaching students valuable lessons and spreading important information in order to help them, help others.
