Hi! I'm a Freshman at The University of Texas At Tyler majoring in kinesiology. My biggest goal in life would be to be able to go to medical school and become a doctor. I am a triplet with one younger brother. I'm deemed by others as outgoing, perseverant, & humble. Life is a journey & a test where each experience is a chance to grow, even when others try to bring me down. I'm a great candidate because I've gone through tough obstacles to get to where I am now. to accomplish my dreams that could become possible I also went to give back to my family and community for helping me out with multiple things that would always cherish my community and would like to give back to them I believe in doing good to others. It makes me feel good doing so since I'm about going above & beyond in any way, which led to my success & a rise to better positions in life! I would do anything to win scholarships, even if it means acting boldly. My struggle is my story, & my story is my superpower. Thanks for the "bold" opportunities! I look forward to graduate and to accomplish my dreams

    Manny and Sylvia Weiner Medical Scholarship
    I am an undergrad student striving to become a medical doctor to better help people that can't go to the doctor's office due to not good paying jobs that have kids sick and are in the lower income area. I want to receive this scholarship because I am a triplet with one younger brother and my brother and sister are all going to the university but due to classes being so high in pay and three of us. It can get pretty overwhelming having to deal with classes and knowing in the back of my mind if I would even be able to continue or just stop going to the university, to at least help my brother and sister pay for their classes. I wouldn't want to but I still have yet to get any help with any scholarships to help with the high amount to at least ease the high amount to a lower amount which is why I would like to be able to win this scholarship for my future and to be able to become the doctor I know I can be. With a little help, it would truly mean the world and better help my future.

    Knowing that I am Hispanic and seeing first hand how people treat different color that's not there own is hard and not many people have hope for a better future and seeing everything that happens has made me see differently in the world to thrive an chance my dreams regardless of how big or impossible those dreams maybe.

    From poor to doctor because the author tells about his life and inspired me to go to college and make something of my life because he shows how he had no chance to get out of his situation without becoming something with his life and shows me that nothing is impossible if you work hard at your goals and not to worry about people around me has helped me to become a better student and shows me if I work hard and study then I can reach my goals no matter the obstacle.

    The American dream to me is a dream that most people come over to have a better life for themselves and their families to have a better future than from where ever they may have come from. I plan on using this scholarship to help me get through college to be able to graduate then go to med school and give back to my family for supporting me in raising triplets and one younger brother and giving them whatever they may need in appreciation for trying to give me a good life and turning me into the person that I'm today and helping pay for me to go to college even if it's a little bit of money. This scholarship would help me out and be one step closer to reaching my goal.

    I'm a triplet I would like to win this scholarship to better my future because since it's three of us in college it gets troubling to find enough money to give to college. My major is kinesiology, I have always been interested in working with a field of the body which is also why I am thinking about when I'm done with my major, I would like to go to Medical School to become a doctor to better help people lives to help them get back to a 100 percent normal or close to normal. These are some of the reasons why this scholarship would help me and my family out a lot and for my future.
