My name is Gerard T I’m from south florida from a hispanic family. I’m going to Universal technical institute to pursue a career in the industry to help improve it and make it a better place. I want to work for a big automotive company to gain my experience for a couple of years and then open up my own shop. At my shop customers will be able to come to the shop knowing they’re getting the best service they can get for the best price. My customers will always be the number one priority and I’ll never make them spend extra money on something they don’t need. I also want to make it an equal rights workspace since it could make it hard for women or people with other sexualities to work in the automotive field due to how harsh men are on women or vice versa. Lastly I want to create a scholarship foundation for students looking to go to Universal technical institute, not only will this help the students who want to go to this school but it will also help the students that don’t know about UTI it will help get the word out and help create more jobs in the industry.
