Throughout my high school career I have displayed positive behavior and academic success. I have a grade point average of 3.5, I am on the honor roll, I have helped host a social event for incoming freshmen. Also, I am an active member of Deca and I won first place in Deca regional competitions, and I do active volunteer work for my community. Furthermore, looking at my personality I am a hardworking positive attitude student that works well with others. I have gained many skills throughout my life that will help me for the future. Out of all of my experiences I would like to thank my job for helping me gain the most experience. I am a crew manager at a franchise restaurant called IHOP, and it has taught me so much. I started working there at the age of 15, and it has taught me to be financially responsible and display professionalism. Working in an environment such as this has been such a wonderful and educational experience that will help me in my future. Additionally, I have always been told by other people what I should do for my future or that I cannot succeed in life if I choose a certain path. People have always tried to put down my spirit, and good nature just for following my heart. I have decided to follow my heart and contribute to this society in Accounting. The field of Accounting has truly grown on me, and it is what I desire to do after high school.
