I'm a senior who is currently taking rigorous high school and college courses like abstract algebra and intro to engineering at Miami Dade College and the University of Miami as a dual enrollment student. I make an impact on my community as I work towards making cultural preservation quilts, helping tutor students, and sharing programs and scholarships with underrepresented teens as Vice President of the Black Student Union. I've recently found my passion for coding and am continuously on the journey to increase my knowledge of the field by attending coding boot camps such as Kode with Klossy and Girls Who Code and as an intern at America On Tech. In these programs, I've developed websites for mock clients and created an app geared toward financial literacy. In the future, I aspire to be a web developer or computer software engineer after discovering her passion for coding. I would like to be a web developer for a non-profit organization that protects and preserves the history and culture of underrepresented communities, like the National Museum of African American History and Culture. I am deeply passionate about education and racial equity. I hope to further these passions as a student at Dartmouth College, Class of 2028.
