I am a full-time student devoted to research regarding biology, heredity, psychology, social issues, culture, and current events. I have obtained a 4.0 unweighted GPA since 2019. As a student leader, I was a 3-year varsity volleyball captain, founded the school’s college decision social media account, am a member of National Honor Society and Student Council, organized school-wide fundraisers, and represent several volunteer organizations. Externally, I have competed in club volleyball, participated in the Future Doctors Academy, and advocated for ongoing social issues in the form of protests and social media platforms. I will major in biology to then attend medical school. Within a psychiatry practice, I intend to focus on abnormalities and sleep disorders. Despite enjoying immersing myself in my studies, I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, listening to music, reading, walking my dogs, and even self-reflecting alone. I am extremely excited about college and would contribute to each campus heavily by exchanging conversations with diverse individuals to gain unique perspectives. I have impeccable science skills, and I take a particular interest in the connection between biology and psychology. I enjoy advocating for several underrepresented groups in the United States, but I take a special interest in animal, environmental, minority, mentally ill, and climate rights. Overall, I am looking to better myself at a university that I fall in love with.
