As the wife of an active-duty service member, I’ve experienced firsthand the unique challenges and sacrifices that come with military life—frequent relocations, long periods of separation, and the constant need to adapt to change. These experiences have shaped me into a resilient, adaptable person, but they have also highlighted the importance of building a life and career that brings both stability and fulfillment. That’s why I’ve chosen to pursue a career as a Master Esthetician. This path not only aligns with my personal passions but also supports my commitment to my family and the military lifestyle we’ve embraced.
Choosing esthetics wasn’t just about finding a job—it was about discovering a calling that allows me to balance the demands of motherhood, military life, and personal growth. Being a mom is the most important role I’ve ever had, and I want to ensure that I can be present and supportive for my children while also setting an example of strength, dedication, and purpose. A career in esthetics offers the flexibility to build a business or practice that travels with me wherever the military takes us. It’s a portable profession that I can tailor to our changing circumstances, making it the ideal fit for my life as a military spouse.
Beyond the practical benefits, becoming a Master Esthetician speaks to a deeper purpose in my life—the desire to help people see and feel the best in themselves. In a world that often highlights flaws and imperfections, I want to offer a different message. I want my clients to walk away from my care feeling more confident, more comfortable in their skin, and more in touch with their own natural beauty.
I believe that when people feel good about how they look, it often opens the door to deeper emotional healing and self-acceptance. My goal is to help individuals enhance their natural features—not to mask who they are, but to help them see what those who love them already see: their goodness, their worth, and their inner beauty.
This career path allows me to combine creativity, science, and compassion in a meaningful way. It gives me the opportunity to support others on their self-care journeys while building a future that aligns with my values as a mother and a military wife. Pursuing higher education to become a Master Esthetician is more than just a personal ambition—it’s a step toward creating a life that reflects the strength, adaptability, and love that defines our family.
Receiving this scholarship would be a tremendous support. It would ease the financial burden that often comes with pursuing specialized education and allow me to focus more fully on my studies and future career. Most importantly, it would bring me one step closer to building a career that empowers others while supporting the people I love most.
With this opportunity, I hope not only to transform my own life, but also to help others rediscover the beauty and light within themselves.

I see the beauty in everyone and I want to help others see it in themselves. It would amazing to help people feel seen and understood, my goal would be to become a master esthetician and add new courses throughout the years to be able to meet the needs of each specific client. I am also the wife of an active duty military member and so our lives are always up in the air and subject to change. This is a career that would allow me to be the constant in our children’s lives while still contributing to our home financially.
