Music is like a buffet. There’s many options but you may or may not like what’s there. The cool thing is you can write whatever you want and release whatever you want, without it being completely wrong. There will always be critics but it’s important you write what you want. The way I start out is grabbing a guitar or sitting at a piano. I like to make that as my foundation. Then once either of those are done I will look into adding a bass. Bass guitar is essential to drive a song. I then start getting a melody down on paper. Once that is done. I tweek some automations, volumes and EQ’s and I end up writing a song. Thank you.
