I am a proud Florida State University graduate with a deep passion for healthcare and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others. After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from FSU, I am excited to continue my academic journey in PA school, starting this August. My ultimate goal is to serve diverse communities with compassionate, patient-centered care while contributing to the advancement of medical practice and health education.
Throughout my undergraduate studies, I actively sought opportunities to engage in healthcare-related volunteer work and internships, which solidified my desire to pursue a career in medicine. My experiences in clinical settings have equipped me with strong problem-solving skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. I am driven by the belief that healthcare should be accessible, equitable, and delivered with dignity and respect for all individuals.

Dedication and hard work have been the cornerstone of my personal and professional growth. As a daughter of immigrant parents, I got a front-seat look into how this can truly pay off. My parents moved to the United States at 19 in pursuit of a better life. With little to their name, they built a life for themselves and their daughters. Although their success did not come easy, they overcame the hardships and persevered. To this day, they continue to inspire me and the inner desire to one day support them fuels my motivation to succeed. Because of their journey, I feel empowered to strive high. It’s no secret that the path toward becoming a Physician Assistant (PA) is not easy, but my parents have proven to me that the complexities of life should never get in the way of rising to my fullest potential.
I was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare after having witnessed my grandmother's journey through colon cancer. Her lack of access to healthcare left a yearning within me to provide compassionate support and make a difference in the lives of those facing similar challenges. At such a young age, I did not know what this role would be quite yet. It wasn’t until my mom was diagnosed with appendiceal cancer that the revelation dawned on me. Her PA made a lasting impact on my mom’s path to recovery yet also on my decision to become a PA myself.
Having known what receiving wonderful care felt like, I was confident in my abilities entering my position as a clinical assistant. Because the main mission of this clinic is to make cosmetic surgery more accessible and affordable, I see on a day-to-day basis how much of a difference we can make in our patient’s lives. My grandmother did not have readily available resources at her fingertips so being able to pay this back by being a part of a clinic that promotes affordable cosmetic care is rewarding. Everyone, no matter their financial status, deserves to feel good about themselves. It brings me joy knowing I played a role in gaining back their confidence and well-being. My empathy is one of my biggest strengths and I will continue to advocate for my patients and what they deserve.
Drawing from my experience with my mother’s cancer history, I've recognized the value of creating a personable and positive experience in healthcare. Not only does it allow the patient to feel comfortable, but it also shows that their health is of priority. Moreover, having lived in Budapest, where I attended an international school, I learned about other cultures through friendships and experiences and the best possible practices for overcoming cultural barriers. Being multicultural myself, I know that I will be able to develop relationships with my patients while also using my skills and education to get them back to top health.
Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to a healthcare system that prioritizes accessibility and equity. I will ensure that everyone, regardless of background, has the opportunity to lead a healthy and fulfilling life. Through my career as a future PA, I hope to make a positive impact in my patients’ healthcare journey, encouraging them to place importance on their health and inspiring future generations of healthcare professionals to do the same.
