I am a certified phlebotomy technician, certified through the ASCP, and a laboratory assistant at Parkview Health.
I have been working in the healthcare field for 8 years now, and all on night shift. I have worked my way from ER patient access representative, to certified nursing assistant, to where I am now currently in the laboratory. After earning my Associates of Applied Science: Healthcare Specialist, I took some much-needed time off. During my time off, I focused on my career and my family. Now I am back to earn to my Clinical Laboratory Science, BS.
I am a mama of four spoiled fur babies. I volunteer any spare time to foster Pit Bull type dogs through the Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition. Working with the FWPBC our goal is to raise awareness for the loving and misunderstood Pit Bull type dogs.
