WinnerI plan to get a Criminal Justice degree and to go into the police academy with it so I can help the community better. I have found it very easy to see myself as a law enforcement officer. From friends and family, I have been told that I would make a great police officer and I have a good head on my shoulders. I have been told by Pennsylvania State Troopers that I have gotten to know that they can see a great future in me. Many times i find that my greatest satisfaction is not in my self interest but in honest sincerity of trying to help someone when they are at their lowest. There is nothing better than serving a community in a way that makes people just feel safer. I am not interested in just the cool parts of the job like the car or the cool hats, I am interested because I am genuinely interested in helping people when they need help the most. In all honesty I find it difficult to not want to join the law enforcement, it is such a noble career to have.
When I play football, my greatest strength (What i get complimented on most) is on my hard work and discipline. With being a center in football I learn the idea of protecting someone and how sometimes you might sacrifice and you will never see it in the stats. I learn to realize through hard work and determination, I have the ability to really help out my personal community and be able to feel fulfilled in life. I have an officer in my high school that loves to go into detail about all the calls he would get dispatched too. He also talked about the crazy people he would have to pull over. He made me not only realize my potential career choice, but also my lifetime pursuit in life. With my high school, especially with tests and quizzes I find that I have to fight through adversity to accomplish my goals for the grade. If I could choose any position to be in for the police, it would most likely to be in a school so I can also help teach those beliefs of morality and also I have been told by people that I am very close in my workplace that I am great with children and know how to deal with them so they also feel connected.
