Bio

I am a hardworking student who was homeschooled for 9th grade. I did self-directed learning during this time, and traveled to different parts of the U.S. to learn about things I was interested in. For example, I went to Colorado while I was studying the captive wildlife industry, and I went to Pendleton, OR and Anchorage, AK to learn about indigenous peoples and cultures. Currently, I am an early college student who has been taking community college classes for almost three years now. I will be graduating high school with an associate degree and a high school honors diploma. I am also a member of the NHS society. I have always loved making art, so I have decided to pursue a degree in graphic design. In addition to being a graphic designer, I also one day hope to do wildlife photography. My dream is to one day swim with wild orcas in the ocean and see wild African elephants on a safari. Other goals of mine include learning to speak fluent Spanish. As a biracial Latina, learning to speak fluent Spanish is one way to get it touch with my heritage. To help me achieve this goal, I plan on going on a 7-week study abroad trip to Costa Rica in the winter of 2025. To get in touch with my Latin roots, and because I love to visit new places, I have already travelled to Mexico, Costa Rica, and El Salvador.
