Where would we all be right now without education? Without learning skills, life lessons, and gaining understanding of the world around us? I know for myself, prior to pursuing my undergraduate degree I was crashing at friends houses and mostly living in my car. Then I lost that car, and I remember thinking I need to get back to the plan, I needed to go back to school. Completing that my undergraduate degree changed my life. As of today, I'm currently pursuing my MBA, about half way through the program, with the intention and hope of further improving my life so that I can better support others in doing the same. To me the value of education, of learning, of mentorship is very clear as those have played a major role in turning my life around. Not only that, but I've seen similar happen with friends and family. For the last few years, I've spent time learning every day as well as coach and mentor students a few days per week. This is one of the ways I'm able to give back currently. For the future, I am building a business with the vision of positively impacting the quality of human interaction. Currently, education, training, and coaching are a big part of that. The goal is to create a variety of programs and services that can accomplish this where ever they are deployed. In order to increase the probability of success, education and working with well educated peers is essential. One of the current challenges is maintaining my own financial stability while in the start up phase. As of now, residing in California is definitely a challenge. Opportunity is around but until connected, it's kind of like being on life support or bleeding out. I've learned how to stabilize and survive and I'm working diligently to be able to thrive. I'm leaning into some of my other skills and pursuing additional training while in the MBA program to move towards a project or program management role. The market is a little tough but I'm persistent and I'm convinced that's the right fit for me now and makes the most sense for the future as well. With all that said, I'd like to thank you now for taking the time to consider my essay. As mentioned before, education, learning, coaching has changed my life. Those took me from being essentially homeless to being able to contribute to others. I'm currently pursuing higher education to rise further and help others to do the same. Thank you for your time.
