Hi! I’m Flavia, a proud Venezuelan-Colombian-American student at Pace University. Majoring in Arts and Entertainment Management. I’m passionate about storytelling, creativity, and building experiences that bring people together, whether through media, pop culture, community-based project, and events. I’m navigating college entirely on my own, covering rent, tuition, and living expenses while working in the service industry. My goal is to break into the entertainment and PR world, creating spaces where people feel seen and inspired. This scholarship would help me stay focused, stay in school, and keep moving toward the future I’m determined to build.

Sabrina Carpenter Superfan Scholarship
I first discovered Sabrina Carpenter when she starred on Girl Meets World. At the time, I was around the same age as her character, so it felt like I was growing up alongside her. From there, I dove into her music—songs like Thumbs and Sue Me—and before I knew it, I wasn’t just a casual listener anymore, I was a real fan. Now that we’re both in our twenties (she’s only two years older than me), it almost feels like I’ve lived through certain stages of life with her soundtrack in the background.
What I admire most about Sabrina is how she’s reinvented herself without losing her roots. You can still feel her acting background in her music—every album plays like a story, every track like a character. Recently, her work has become more theatrical and playful, and as someone with a background in dance and musical theater, that part really speaks to me. She treats her art like a performance, and it makes me feel like I’m experiencing more than just a song—I’m stepping into her world.
Her career has impacted me in a very real way. I’ve learned that it’s okay to evolve, experiment, and not take yourself too seriously. Sabrina isn’t afraid to poke fun at herself or take risks with her music, and that confidence has pushed me to be bolder in my own life. Whether I’m juggling school, work, or creative projects, I try to carry that same energy—lighthearted, yet ambitious.
At the end of the day, her music just makes me feel good. It’s rare to find an artist who can lift your mood whether you’re stressed about rent, tired after a long shift, or just in need of a pick-me-up. Sabrina has been that constant for me. Watching her growth from a Disney star to a global performer reminds me that with persistence, creativity, and a bit of humor, I can keep chasing my own dreams, too.
