I would describe myself as being polite and kind but at the same time competitve toward things I want to achieve. Although Volleyball is definitely one of the more obvious things im competitive with another thing that also shows it is when it comes to classes such as Computer Science class where since I know less then my fellow classmates, I'm trying hard to catch up with the limited knowledge I know now.

Although it sounds a bit like cheating when I choose him, when I was young I used to play Taney baseball and I thought that sport was my favorite thing to do during my free time. When I was younger I grew a lot quicker compared to the other kids that were on my team and that led to me being physically better then most of the people we went against. Because of this I took the sport rather easy and didn't try to hard or practice outside of the days whenever we had practice or games. One of the people that actually drove me to start trying and applying myself at a young age was none other than my dad who was coaching at the time. He would constantly push me to practice outside of school and get better as time went on. I think that because of this effort to support me in being better, it really created a love of sports in me and also a fair bit of competitiveness in me that translated as a grew up into everything else I do in my life. Although I didn't stick to baseball for very long in my younger years the fact that my dad push me so much into practicing and trying to be the best in whatever sport I play caused me to try out lots of sports and even into other hobbies like guitar and music. I always thank my dad in my head whenever I find something that interests me and I try to become the best or just at least above average compared to the rest of the people who are into that hobby.
I think that my dad is a very good comparison to Dave since after reading about who Dave was as a person and what the things he valued were I found that a lot of it definitely matched what my dad is like. My dad is a big tough dude who was raised in a tough neighborhood in philly and it definitely influenced him as h grew up but if he cares about you he will always make sure your good and help if you need help. Just the fact that both Dave constantly trying to uplift his athletes on and off the field and my dad who constantly tries to find different ways to teach me about life shows to me how close of a comparison they are to each other and how I'm so thankful for my dad constantly pushing me to succeed in life.
