Bio

I'm a junior high school junior with a big heart, a curious mind, and a passion for both science and storytelling. I plan to pursue a career in pediatric medicine - ideally as a pediatric surgeon - where I can combine precision, empathy, and advocacy to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families. I'm active in theatre and music as both a performer and a stage manager. These experiences have strengthened my discipline, teamwork, and leadership, as well as taught me how to stay organized and adaptable under pressure. I volunteer with organizations that serve low-income and underrepresented communities. This work shaped my commitment to addressing healthcare disparities and providing care that is accessible and compassionate. I am a strong scholarship candidate because I am driven, consistent, and committed to growth. I balance academics, the arts, and service with focus and responsibility. Financial support would allow me to pursue my education without placing additional strain on my family. My mom is a single parent, and I've watched her work tirelessly, and find ways to increase income while supporting our household. A scholarship would ease that burden and allow me to focus on my goals. I plan to use my education to serve others, support my family, and make a meaningful impact in medicine.
