I'm Fareeda Olaiya, a sixteen-year-old girl from Nigeria with a burning passion for medicine. My journey to pursuing a career in medicine has not been an easy one, but it has only fueled my determination and resilience. Growing up in Nigeria, I have always been surrounded by the harsh realities of the healthcare system in my country. From overcrowded hospitals to a lack of adequate medical facilities, I have witnessed the struggles and suffering of my fellow citizens firsthand. This has inspired me to pursue a career in medicine after high school. I have always been drawn to the idea of helping others and making a positive impact on the world. I believe that pursuing a career in medicine will allow me to fulfill this calling and make a difference in the lives of others. I am deeply committed to improving healthcare in Nigeria, where access to quality medical care is often limited, especially in rural areas. I have faced numerous challenges and adversity in my past, but each one has only made me stronger and more determined to achieve my goals. One of the biggest challenges I have had to overcome is the lack of resources and opportunities in my community. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the struggles that people in my community faced when it came to accessing basic healthcare. This experience has deeply shaped my desire to become a doctor and work towards improving healthcare in Nigeria. Despite the obstacles I have faced, I have always been resilient and resourceful. I have worked hard in school and have consistently excelled in my studies, even though I have had to navigate a challenging and new educational system here in the United States. I faced challenges in certain subjects that made me doubt my abilities and question my potential as a future medical student. However, I refused to let these setbacks define me. I sought extra help, and I worked tirelessly on my own to improve my grades. Overcoming these academic challenges has shown me that I have the strength and determination to succeed in the rigorous academic environment of medical school. In the future, I hope to attend medical school and eventually become licensed in the medical field. I aim to specialize in community medicine and public health so that I can work towards improving healthcare access, prevention, and education in underserved communities in Nigeria. I also hope to use my platform as a healthcare professional to advocate for healthcare reform and policy changes that will benefit those who are most vulnerable and in need. Ultimately, facing adversity has only strengthened my dream of studying medicine in college. I have overcome financial hardships, personal struggles, and academic setbacks, and I am now more determined than ever to pursue my passion for medicine. I believe that my experiences have prepared me for the challenges that lie ahead, and I am eager to use my education and skills to make a positive impact in the world of medicine. As a high school senior, I am ready to tackle the next chapter of my life with resilience, determination, and steadfast dedication to my dream.

Growing up, I was taught about the Civil Rights Movement in school, but it wasn't until I learned about Rosa Parks that the struggle for equality and justice truly resonated with me. What struck me the most was her quiet yet powerful act of resistance. In a time when African Americans were considered second-class citizens and faced daily discrimination, Rosa Parks stood up for what she believed in and refused to be treated unfairly. One of the reasons why Rosa Parks has been such an inspiration to me is because of her unwavering determination. Despite facing constant threats and backlash, she remained true to her beliefs and continued to fight for equality. Her strength and resilience in the face of adversity is something that I deeply admire. It takes a great deal of courage to stand up for what is right, especially when it goes against the societal norms of the time. Rosa Parks also taught me the importance of using my voice for positive change. She could have easily given in to the status quo and accepted the discriminatory laws of her time, but instead, she chose to speak up and take a stand against injustice. Her small act of defiance sparked a movement that brought about significant change in the United States. This serves as a reminder that our actions and words have power and can make a difference, no matter how small they may seem. Another reason why Rosa Parks is such an inspiration to me is because of her peaceful approach to activism. In a time when violence was prevalent, she chose to use nonviolent resistance to bring about change. Her peaceful protests and boycotts were a powerful example of how one can make a difference without resorting to violence. This approach is something that I believe in and try to emulate in my own life, whether it's standing up against injustice or advocating for a cause I believe in. Rosa Parks has taught me the importance of perseverance and patience. The Montgomery Bus Boycott lasted for 381 days, and it took years for the Civil Rights Movement to achieve significant progress. This serves as a reminder that change doesn't happen overnight, and it requires perseverance and patience to achieve lasting results. Rosa Parks' determination to keep fighting for equality, even in the face of adversity, is a testament to her strength of character and unwavering resolve.

Books are a treasure trove of knowledge, experiences, and insights. As avid readers, we often lose ourselves in the pages of a book, becoming completely engrossed in the story or information presented. It is not uncommon for us to come out of a book feeling inspired, enlightened, and changed in some way. In my journey as a reader, I have devoured books from various genres, from fantasy to self-help, and each one has left an indelible mark on my mind. They have shaped my perspective, challenged my beliefs, and influenced my goals in life. In this article, I would like to share some of the lessons I have learned from the books I have read and how they have impacted my aspirations. Books have taught me the power of imagination. As a child, I was fascinated by the magical world of Harry Potter and the thrilling adventures of Nancy Drew. These books ignited my imagination and transported me to a world beyond my own. They taught me to dream big and to believe in the extraordinary. As I grew up, this lesson stayed with me, and I began to apply it to my goals. I learned that anything is possible if I dared to dream and put in the effort to make it a reality. Books have also helped me develop empathy and understanding towards people from different backgrounds. Novels like To Kill a Mockingbird and The Color Purple opened my eyes to the harsh realities of racism and discrimination. They made me realize the importance of standing up for what is right and treating everyone with kindness and compassion. These lessons have influenced my goals to be a better human being and to contribute positively to society. Through reading, I have also learned the value of resilience and perseverance. Stories of characters who overcame great challenges and obstacles inspired me to keep going in the face of adversity. Books like The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and The Secret by Rhonda Byrne taught me to have faith in myself and the universe and to never give up on my dreams, no matter how impossible they may seem. These lessons have shaped my goals to push through setbacks and keep working towards my aspirations, even when the going gets tough. Books have also taught me the importance of continuous learning and personal growth. Non-fiction books, in particular, have been instrumental in my personal development journey. From self-help books like The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle to biographies of successful people like Michelle Obama, each one has offered valuable insights and lessons on how to be a better version of myself. These books have influenced my goals to keep learning and growing, both personally and professionally. In addition to shaping my goals, books have also taught me practical skills that have proved useful in various aspects of my life. From time management to communication skills, books have provided me with practical knowledge and tips that I have implemented in my daily routine. For example, the book Atomic Habits by James Clear taught me the power of small, consistent actions in achieving big goals. Ever since reading it, I have incorporated daily habits that have helped me achieve my goals more effectively.
      Women in STEM Scholarship
I have chosen to pursue STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) because I have always been fascinated by the way things work and the endless possibilities that these fields offer. I believe that STEM is the driving force behind innovation and progress and I am eager to be a part of that change. As a black woman, I understand the importance of representation in STEM fields. It is an unfortunate reality that there is a lack of diversity in these fields, with women and minorities being vastly underrepresented. Growing up, I rarely saw people who looked like me in these professions, and it made me more determined to break down these barriers and make a difference as a black woman in STEM. I hope to use my voice and my experiences to inspire other black women and girls to pursue careers in STEM. I want to lead by example and show them that anything is possible, regardless of race or gender. I want to be a role model and mentor to young black girls who may not have access to the same opportunities as their peers. Aside from representation, I also hope to make a difference in the field by contributing to projects and research that can have a positive impact on society. Whether it's finding solutions to environmental issues, developing new technology, or improving healthcare, I want to use my knowledge and skills to make the world a better place. One of my goals is to ensure that the voices and perspectives of marginalized communities are included in the design and development of new technologies. Too often, innovations are created without considering the diverse needs and experiences of all people, which can perpetuate inequality. I want to bring attention to these disparities and work towards creating more equitable and inclusive solutions. In addition to my work in STEM, I also want to be involved in organizations and initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion in these fields. I believe that creating a more welcoming and supportive environment for underrepresented groups can help increase the number of women and minorities who pursue careers in STEM. Ultimately, I am driven by a desire to make a positive impact and to be a trailblazer for future generations of black women in STEM. I am passionate about using my skills and knowledge to inspire others, break down barriers, and contribute to important advancements in the field. I am proud to be a black woman in STEM, and I am determined to use my position to make a difference.

The quote “One Heart, One Beat…” may seem simple and concise, but it carries a powerful message that resonates with people from all walks of life. When I first came across this saying, it struck a chord within me and it has stayed with me ever since. To me, this quote signifies unity, empathy, and compassion – qualities that are essential for creating a harmonious and inclusive society. At its core, it emphasizes the idea of oneness, where every individual is seen as a part of a larger entity, connected in spirit and purpose. In today’s world, where divisions and conflicts seem to dominate the headlines, this quote serves as a reminder that despite our differences, we are all ultimately the same – human beings with the same needs, desires, and emotions. But what does it truly mean to have “One Heart, One Beat…”? In my interpretation, it means having a sense of empathy towards others. It means putting ourselves in someone else’s shoes and understanding their feelings, struggles, and experiences. It means stepping out of our comfort zones and acknowledging the diversity in our society, whether it be in terms of race, religion, gender, or social status. By doing so, we can establish a connection with others, breaking down barriers and building bridges between individuals and communities. The quote also speaks to the concept of compassion, the act of showing kindness, understanding, and concern for others. Just as our hearts beat in unison, the quote reminds us that our actions, no matter how big or small, have an impact on those around us. A simple gesture of kindness can make a huge difference in someone’s life, and it all starts with having a compassionate heart. To me, “One Heart, One Beat…” also emphasizes the importance of unity and teamwork. In any society or community, it is crucial to work together towards a common goal, with each individual bringing their unique skills and talents to the table. It is when different hearts beat as one that we can achieve great things and make a positive change in the world. The quote also serves as a reminder of our responsibility towards the planet and all its inhabitants. In today’s fast-paced world, we often forget to take a step back and reflect on the impact of our actions on the environment. Just as our hearts beat in unison, we must remember that we are all interconnected with nature and its delicate ecosystems. By working together as one, we can protect and preserve our planet for future generations.

First and foremost, the biggest similarity between Malgorzata and myself is our determination to achieve our goals. Just like her, I have always been a hardworking and ambitious individual. I have faced my share of challenges while trying to achieve my dreams. Whether it was completing my education or finding a job, I have faced my fair share of difficulties, just like Malgorzata did. Like her, I have always been determined to overcome these obstacles and never let them deter me from my goals. Another aspect of Malgorzata's story that I could relate to was her transition from a small village to a big city. As a teenager, I moved from a small town to a metropolitan city for my higher studies. The change in lifestyle, culture, and people was overwhelming for me, just like it was for Malgorzata. I can understand the feeling of being an outsider in a new place and trying to navigate through a completely different environment. One of the biggest challenges that Malgorzata faced was the language barrier. Moving to the city, she found herself struggling to communicate with others due to her limited knowledge of the city's language. As someone who has lived in a foreign country, I can relate to the difficulties of communication in a language that is not your own. I have experienced moments where I felt isolated and disconnected due to not being able to express myself clearly. Similarly, in my own life, I have had to navigate through cultural expectations and norms that may have held me back from fully expressing my true self. However, just like Malgorzata, I have learned to find a balance between respecting my cultural roots and pursuing my own identity and passions. The cultural differences that Malgorzata faces in the city are something that I can relate to as well. Coming from a different background and adapting to a new culture can be overwhelming. As I moved to a new country, I had to learn about its customs, traditions, and cultural norms. Similarly, Malgorzata had to navigate through the city's sophisticated and urban lifestyle, which was a stark contrast to her simple village upbringing. Her story serves as a reminder that regardless of our differences, we all face challenges in this journey called life. We can relate and learn from each other’s struggles which can bring about empathy and understanding, making the world a better place for everyone.

Living sustainably is a hot topic these days, and for good reason. With the current state of the environment, it has become imperative for individuals to make intentional choices in their daily lives to reduce their carbon footprint. As a conscious individual myself, I strongly believe in the importance of living sustainably and have made intentional choices to do so in my daily life. One of the first intentional choices I have made is to reduce my meat consumption. Livestock farming, especially cows, has been identified as a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, I have consciously reduced my meat intake and have incorporated more plant-based meals into my diet. Not only does this help in reducing my carbon footprint, but it also has numerous health benefits. Another intentional choice I have made is to use public transportation or walk whenever possible. Transportation accounts for a significant percentage of carbon emissions, and by opting for eco-friendly modes of transportation, I am contributing towards reducing my carbon footprint. Walking or biking not only helps in reducing emissions but also promotes a healthier lifestyle. I have also made an effort to reduce my plastic usage by opting for reusable bags and containers. Single-use plastics are a major environmental concern, and by using reusable alternatives, I am significantly reducing the amount of plastic waste I produce. I also make conscious choices when it comes to purchasing products by opting for brands that use sustainable materials and practices. One of the most significant changes I have made in my daily life to live sustainably is reducing my energy consumption. This includes simple habits like turning off lights and unplugging electronic devices when not in use, using energy-efficient appliances, and hanging clothes to dry instead of using a dryer. These small changes may seem insignificant, but they make a considerable difference in the long run. Reducing my water usage is another intentional choice I have made. With water scarcity becoming a global issue, it is crucial to conserve water. I do this by fixing any leaks in my home, taking shorter showers, and using a bucket instead of a running tap while washing dishes. It is essential to understand why it is crucial to reduce our carbon footprint and live sustainably. Our planet is facing a climate crisis, and the consequences of inaction are severe. By reducing our carbon footprint, we are minimizing the amount of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere, thus contributing towards slowing down climate change. We also need to preserve our natural resources and protect biodiversity for future generations. Living sustainably also has personal benefits. By reducing our energy and water usage, we can significantly impact our utility bills, leading to significant cost savings. Incorporating more plant-based meals into our diet can also improve our health and well-being.

Out of all the themes, there is one that stands out to me as my absolute favorite – “Camp: Notes on Fashion” in the year 2019. First of all, can we just take a moment to appreciate the genius behind this theme? It was inspired by Susan Sontag’s essay “Notes on Camp” and centered around the idea of exaggerated fashion. I mean, who doesn’t love a little bit of extra and over-the-top glamour? And while all the celebs brought their A-game to the red (or should I say pink) carpet that year, there was one outfit that stood out to me as the best – Lady Gaga’s iconic, four-in-one ensemble. Yes, you read that right. Gaga didn’t just settle for one outfit, but she gave us four different looks in one night. She started with a stunning hot pink ball gown designed by regular collaborator Brandon Maxwell, which she accessorized with a matching umbrella and a wagon full of champagne. As if that wasn’t enough, she then stripped down to a black strapless dress, and then a hot pink slip dress, and finally ended the night in her signature black lingerie. It was a fashion show within a fashion show and everyone was living for it. But as much as I loved Gaga’s looks, there was one outfit that didn’t quite hit the mark for me that year – Ezra Miller’s face mask. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for pushing boundaries and taking risks with fashion, but this just felt a bit too bizarre even for the Met Gala. The actor wore a Burberry suit and a crystal corset, but the attention was all on the monstrous face mask that covered his entire face. It looked like a cross between a psychedelic alien and a character from a horror movie. And let’s be honest, how did he even eat or breathe in that thing? Of course, I have to give props to Ezra for committing to the theme and going all out, but for me, it was a bit of a miss. I couldn’t help but wonder what the inspiration behind this look was – was it a nod to his role in the Fantastic Beasts franchise? Or was he trying to be ironic by covering his face on a night when everyone is trying to get their faces seen by the world? From Lady Gaga’s multiple outfit changes to Billy Porter’s iconic entrance on a gold litter carried by shirtless men, it was a night to remember. And let’s not forget the after-party where Celine Dion danced on the tables in a fringed bodysuit and glitzy headgear. That’s the kind of camp I can definitely get on board with. While there have been many amazing themes throughout the years at the Met Gala, “Camp: Notes on Fashion” in 2019 takes the cake for me. It was a celebration of fashion and creativity in its most exaggerated form. And even though Ezra Miller’s face mask may not have been my cup of tea, it certainly added to the campy atmosphere of the event. I can’t wait to see what the Met Gala has in store for us this year. Who knows, maybe I’ll even be there (in my dreams, of course).

A day with no worries, no stress, no strife A day so perfect, it feels like a dream A day where time seems to slow down A day that makes you want to scream A day where the sun shines bright And the birds sing cheerfully in the sky A day when the flowers bloom And the breeze carries a sweet scent nearby A day when the world seems to pause And the chaos disappears A day where you can just be And let go of all your fears A day spent with loved ones Laughing and making memories A day where you feel alive And forget all your miseries On this perfect day, I feel whole I stop by a café, sipping on my coffee As I watch the world go by People walking, talking, smiling Just enjoy life, no need to hurry The streets are bustling, full of life And the music playing, it's like a paradise I close my eyes and take it all in On this perfect day, there's no need to win I walk along the beach, the sand beneath my feet The waves crashing, such a peaceful beat The sun begins to set, painting the sky With hues of orange, pink, and purple so high The stars appear, twinkling in the sky And the moon, oh so bright I make a wish, on this perfect night For this perfect day, to last forever in sight As I lay in bed, reminiscing the day A feeling of contentment washes over me I drift off to sleep with a smile on my face On this perfect day, I found my happy place A day when your heart is full And your soul is at peace A day where everything is perfect And all worries cease A day that brings a smile to your face And a warmth to your heart A day that you'll always cherish Even when it's time to depart A day that reminds you Of life's simple pleasures A day that teaches you To treasure all life's treasures A day that you'll remember For years to come A day that you'll hold on to When life gets tough and troublesome A perfect day may seem rare But it's closer than you think It's in the little moments That makes our hearts truly sync So let's cherish our perfect days And hold on to them tight For they are the ones That makes our lives truly bright. In a world full of chaos and pain A perfect day may seem hard to obtain But amidst all the chaos, there's always a way To create your own perfect day.

My first goal as a future doctor is to provide high-quality and accessible healthcare to underserved communities, especially in urban areas. Growing up as an African American, I have seen firsthand the disparities in healthcare and how they disproportionately affect people of color. It has fueled my passion for addressing healthcare inequalities and has inspired me to become a doctor committed to serving my community. With the support of the scholarship, I will have the financial stability to pursue my medical education and gain the necessary skills and knowledge to make a real impact in these communities. I am also passionate about using my medical skills to give back to my home country, Africa. As an immigrant, I have always felt a strong connection to my African roots and the challenges faced by its people. I believe that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental human right, and I am determined to use my future profession to improve healthcare systems in Africa. Another goal of mine as a future doctor is to specialize in pediatrics. Children are our future, and I want to play a role in ensuring that they have access to the best healthcare possible. With the help of the scholarship, I will be able to focus on my studies and gain the necessary experience to become a successful pediatrician. Beyond my career goals, I also have personal goals that I hope to achieve as a future doctor. One of them is to be a mentor and role model for aspiring doctors from underrepresented backgrounds. I want to inspire and empower students who, like me, may not have all the resources or opportunities to fulfill their dreams of becoming a doctor. As a part of the black community, I believe it's important to increase racial adversity in the healthcare system because it will help improve patient's access to care and health outcomes, especially for patients of color. We wouldn't want those recovering to worry about whether or not they're receiving the best care. With an increased diversity rate in the healthcare field, more positive outcomes will be realized, and patients will feel safe and give their ultimate trust in the medical staff.

Navigating through adversity is a skill that is essential for both personal and professional success. Adversity comes in many forms, and one of the most common obstacles that individuals face is poor study habits. Poor study habits can be a major hindrance to academic success, and overcoming this obstacle requires the development of personal qualities, skills, and insights. Throughout my academic journey, I have faced the obstacle of poor study habits. I struggled to stay focused and organized, often finding myself procrastinating and cramming for exams at the last minute. This not only harmed my grades but also caused unnecessary stress and anxiety. However, through this experience, I have developed several personal qualities, skills, and insights that have helped me navigate through this adversity. One of the personal qualities that I have developed is self-discipline. Overcoming poor study habits requires a great deal of self-discipline to stay focused and consistently adhere to a study schedule. I have learned to set specific, achievable goals for myself and hold myself accountable for reaching them. This has helped me develop a sense of responsibility and self-motivation, which has been invaluable in overcoming my poor study habits. In addition to self-discipline, I have also developed strong time management skills. I have learned to prioritize my responsibilities and allocate time for studying, rather than leaving everything until the last minute. I have learned to create a study schedule that allows for regular breaks and ensures that I am not overwhelmed with a large workload at once. This has not only improved my study habits but has also positively impacted other areas of my life. I eventually got better at school work, and still tend to improve in different areas I never thought I could. I can draw architectural plans! How cool is that? Leaving time for other things, and putting your mind on them helped me overcome previous setbacks and failures. Furthermore, I have gained valuable insights into the importance of seeking help and utilizing resources. I have learned to utilize various study tools and resources, such as tutoring services, study groups, and educational apps, to supplement my learning and improve my study habits. Additionally, I have sought guidance from professors and academic advisors, who have provided me with valuable advice and support. This has taught me the importance of being proactive and seeking help when needed, rather than struggling in isolation. Overall, overcoming the obstacle of poor study habits has taught me the importance of self-discipline, time management, and the value of seeking help and utilizing resources. These personal qualities, skills, and insights have not only helped me navigate through this adversity but have also equipped me with essential tools for success in both my academic and professional life. I have become a more resilient and resourceful individual, ready to face future challenges with confidence and determination. I'd say I've turned it up to eleven.

As I take my final steps as a high school senior, I am filled with a mixture of emotions. Excitement for the future, nostalgia for the memories made, and uncertainty for what lies ahead. As I prepare to close the chapter on my high school years and begin a new one, I realize that the title of this chapter in my life would be 'A Fresh Start.' This chapter in my life is marked by a significant change - transitioning to a new school for my senior year. I had spent my first three years of high school in a familiar environment, with familiar faces and routines. But due to my family's relocation, I had to leave behind everything I had known and start anew. It was a daunting decision, but as I reflect on this experience, I realize that it has been a blessing in disguise. Starting at a new school in my senior year allowed me to view things from a fresh perspective. I had the opportunity to reinvent myself and step out of my comfort zone. I was no longer limited by the labels or expectations that had been attached to me in my previous school. I could embrace who I wanted to be and create my own identity without any preconceived notions. This new environment presented me with an opportunity to grow and discover my true potential. The challenges I faced in adjusting to a new school brought out a different side of me. I had to push myself out of my comfort zone and make new connections. I joined different clubs and activities, forcing me to interact with people I may not have interacted with if I had stayed at my previous school. I realized that change can be scary, but it can also lead to new and exciting opportunities. In this chapter, I learned to embrace change and the unknown, and it has proved to be a valuable lesson. This has given me a chance to create new memories and experiences. As a senior, I have been able to participate in traditional high school events and milestones with a different group of people. Each day is a fresh start, and I have made it a point to make the most of this new opportunity. I have formed meaningful friendships and connections, and I will always cherish the memories we have made together. As this chapter comes to a close, I am reminded that a 'fresh start' is not just limited to this one senior year. It is a mindset that I will carry with me as I embark on the next stage of my life. With this fresh start, I am equipped with valuable lessons, experiences, and memories that will shape me into the person I am meant to be.

      New Kids Can Scholarship
Being the new kid in high school is never easy, especially when it happens in your senior year. You spend three years building relationships, getting to know the school and its culture, and then BAM! You're uprooted and thrown into a completely new environment where you know no one. It's like starting a game on the hardest level without any cheat codes. But little did I know, being the new kid in my senior year would impact my life, friendships, and future goals in ways I never could have imagined. First of all, let me tell you, it's not easy being the new kid in high school. I mean, everyone knows each other, they have inside jokes, they have their cliques, and you're just standing there like a lost puppy. And to make it worse, I moved from a completely different country – Nigeria. So not only was I the new kid, but I was also kind of an introvert. To say it was a culture shock would be an understatement. On my first day of school, I walked into the wrong class and ended up sitting through a lesson, which I knew nothing about. So there I was, sitting in a room full of strangers, nodding and smiling as if I understood everything that was being said. Needless to say, I made a great first impression. But as the days went by, I slowly started to adjust to my new school and the American culture. I made a few friends and being the new kid taught me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace new experiences. I joined clubs that I never would have considered before. But what made an impact on me were the friendships I formed during this time. Being the new kid, I didn't have any preconceived notions about people and their cliques. I was able to form friendships with people from all different backgrounds and social circles. And I realized that we were all just teenagers trying to find our place in this big and scary world. Moving to the US for my last year of high school opened my eyes to a whole new world of opportunities. The education system, college applications, and career options were vastly different from what I was used to in Nigeria. Being the outsider gave me a fresh perspective and allowed me to think outside the box when it came to my plans. I was also able to take advantage of the diverse extracurricular activities and opportunities available, which helped me cultivate new skills and interests. Of course, there were some challenges along the way. I had to catch up on a year's worth of coursework which I have dominated, and I had to navigate the complicated waters of the college application process. But with the help of my new friends and supportive teachers, I was able to overcome these challenges and even excel in some areas. I never even imagined attending colleges in the United States but I have been accepted a few so far and I can't wait to begin this next phase of my journey.

From the very first episode, Spy x Family captured my attention with its unique concept and cleverly written plot. Every episode brings new challenges for the Forger family as they try to maintain their cover, and each time they succeed, it feels like a triumph for all of us. Spider-Man Showdown Scholarship
Spider-Man has been a beloved character for decades, swinging his way into our hearts through comic books, TV shows, and most notably, the big screen. But with so many different actors taking on the role, it's hard to pick a favorite. Some may argue that Tobey Maguire was the ultimate web-slinger, while others may prefer Tom Holland's youthful and energetic portrayal. But for me, there's no contest – Andrew Garfield will always be my favorite Spider-Man, and let me tell you why. First of all, let's just address the elephant in the room – Andrew Garfield is undeniably attractive. I mean, have you seen those luscious locks and piercing blue eyes? Sorry, Tobey and Tom, but you can't compete with that level of handsome. And let's not forget his charming British accent – it's like music to my ears. I could listen to him say 'With great power comes great responsibility' all day long. But physical appearance aside, Andrew Garfield perfectly captures the essence of Spider-Man. He brings a certain wit and humor to the character that is both endearing and hilarious. I mean, who else could make fighting crime while wearing a spandex suit seem effortless and cool? Not to mention, his one-liners are on point. I still crack up every time I watch him quip, 'You found my weakness – small knives!' while battling Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Speaking of Electro, let's talk about the villains in the Garfield-led Spider-Man films. While I do love Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin and Alfred Molina's Doc Ock from the earlier Spider-Man movies, the villains in The Amazing Spider-Man series were just on a whole other level. Jamie Foxx's portrayal of Electro was both terrifying and comical, and Dane DeHaan's Green Goblin gave me chills. And let's not forget about Rhys Ifans as the Lizard – his transformation from Dr. Curt Connors to a giant reptilian monster was both impressive and ridiculous at the same time. But hey, that's what makes these movies so enjoyable – the perfect balance of action and humor. But what sets Andrew Garfield apart from the rest is his chemistry with Emma Stone. Their on-screen romance as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy was just as captivating as their real-life relationship. And let's be real, who didn't swoon over their adorable banter and awkward yet endearing moments together? They truly brought the iconic comic book couple to life, and I will forever ship them. In addition to his acting skills, Andrew Garfield also has a special connection to the character of Spider-Man. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he revealed that he has been a fan of the web-slinger since he was a child and even dressed up as him for Halloween. He also shared that he used to have a Spider-Man lunchbox and backpack, which just adds to his authenticity as the character. It's clear that he truly understands and appreciates the role, making his portrayal all the more convincing. While there have been many talented actors who have taken on the role of Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield will always hold a special place in my heart. From his charm and humor to his chemistry with Emma Stone and genuine love for the character, he embodies everything that makes Spider-Man so beloved. And let's not forget, he's also really, really ridiculously good-looking. Sorry, Tobey and Tom, but Andrew Garfield will forever be my favorite web-slinger.

      Zendaya Superfan Scholarship
With her killer fashion sense, impressive acting chops, soulful singing voice, and unwavering dedication to activism, it's safe to say that she wears many hats. But out of all the hats she dons, there is one aspect of her multifaceted career that I admire the most – her ability to make me laugh. Yes, you read that right. Zendaya, the queen of high fashion and serious roles, has a comedic side that is often overlooked. But trust me, once you see it, you can't unsee it. Whether it's through her hilarious social media posts or her on-screen comedic timing, Zendaya never fails to make me laugh. One of the things I love most about Zendaya's sense of humor is that it's unexpected. She may be known for her glamorous red carpet-looks and intense acting performances, but she's not afraid to let loose and show her silly side. It's refreshing to see a celebrity who doesn't take themselves too seriously and isn't afraid to be goofy. But what truly sets Zendaya apart from other celebrities is her ability to be effortlessly funny. It's not forced or rehearsed, it's just natural. She has a way of delivering a joke or a witty comment that makes it seem like she's just having a casual conversation with a friend. And that's what makes her so relatable and endearing. One of my favorite examples of Zendaya's comedic genius is her role as Michelle in the Spider-Man franchise. While the movies may be action-packed and filled with intense fight scenes, Zendaya's character brings a much-needed dose of humor. She delivers deadpan one-liners and sarcastic remarks that have me in stitches every time. It's clear that Zendaya's comedic talents are not limited to just her social media or talk show appearances, she can also bring the laughs to the big screen. Another aspect of Zendaya's humor that I admire is her ability to laugh at herself. In an industry that can be so image-focused and critical, Zendaya is not afraid to poke fun at herself and her own mistakes. She often shares behind-the-scenes photos and bloopers from her projects, showing that she doesn't take herself too seriously. It's refreshing to see a celebrity who can laugh at themselves and not take everything so seriously. But it's not just Zendaya's sense of humor that I admire, it's also her use of comedy to bring attention to important social issues. In her various roles, she has tackled topics such as racism, mental health, and body positivity with a touch of humor. She uses comedy as a way to start important conversations and bring awareness to these issues in an approachable and relatable way. While Zendaya may be known for her many talents, it's her humor that I admire the most. She brings a lightness and relatability to her work that is often lacking in the entertainment industry. Whether it's through her natural comedic timing, her ability to make fun of herself, or her use of humor to address important issues, Zendaya's funny bone sets her apart and makes her a true icon in my eyes.
Fall Favs: A Starbucks Stan Scholarship
As the leaves change color and the air turns crisp, there's one thing that never fails to bring a smile to my face – my favorite fall-inspired drink from Starbucks, the infamous Pumpkin Spice Latte. This iconic drink has become a staple in my autumn routine and has even taken on a life of its own, becoming a character in my fall narrative. My love affair with the Pumpkin Spice Latte began innocently enough, with a recommendation from a friend. I remember walking into Starbucks, feeling a little skeptical about this pumpkin-flavored drink that everyone seemed to be raving about. But as soon as I took my first sip, I was hooked. The rich, creamy espresso paired with the warm, comforting flavors of pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg was like a hug in a cup. From that moment on, I knew this drink would hold a special place in my heart. As the years went by, my love for the Pumpkin Spice Latte only grew stronger. Every fall, I eagerly awaited its return to the Starbucks menu, marking the official start of the season for me. I would make a special trip to my local Starbucks just to get my hands on this delicious drink, and I would often find myself ordering it multiple times a week. But it wasn't just the taste of the Pumpkin Spice Latte that I loved, it was the entire experience that came with it. The cozy atmosphere of Starbucks, the sound of the milk being frothed, and the smell of freshly brewed coffee all added to the magic of this fall drink. I would often sit and people-watch while sipping on my latte, feeling like I was living in a scene from a romantic movie. Now, whenever I think of fall, I can't help but think of the Pumpkin Spice Latte. It has become a character in my fall narrative, making appearances in my conversations with friends, and even my dreams. I have a collection of mugs and t-shirts with pumpkin spice-related puns, and I have been known to break out into the 'Pumpkin Spice Latte song' (yes, it's a real thing) at random moments. In a world where everything moves so fast and changes so quickly, it's comforting to have something like the Pumpkin Spice Latte that remains constant. It's a reminder to slow down, savor the moment, and enjoy the little things in life. So, as I sit here with my Pumpkin Spice Latte in hand, I can't help but feel grateful for this delicious drink and the joy it brings me every fall. Cheers to you, Pumpkin Spice Latte, you will always hold a special place in my heart (and my stomach). I love pumpkin spice a latte...get it?

      Mental Health Scholarship for Women
One of the most noticeable ways in which my mental health impacts my academic performance is through my ability to focus and concentrate on my studies. When I am feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed, it becomes incredibly difficult to concentrate on my schoolwork, leading to a decline in my grades and academic performance. Additionally, my motivation to engage in extracurricular activities, complete assignments, and participate in class discussions also wanes when my mental health is suffering, further hindering my overall academic performance. Moreover, my mental health also affects my personal life and relationships with friends and family. When I am experiencing mental health challenges, it becomes difficult to engage in social activities, maintain meaningful connections, and be present in my relationships. This can lead to feelings of isolation, loneliness, and a sense of detachment from those around me, impacting my personal well-being and overall happiness. To make my mental health a priority, there are several steps I take to ensure that I am taking care of my well-being. Firstly, I prioritize self-care activities such as exercise, meditation, and spending time doing things I love, ensuring that I am nurturing my physical and emotional well-being. Additionally, I seek out support through therapy and counseling, providing an outlet to talk about my feelings, gain coping skills, and work through any challenges I may be facing. Furthermore, I also advocate for myself by communicating with my teachers and seeking accommodations when needed. This allows me to receive the support I require to manage my mental health challenges and succeed academically. Additionally, I have also cultivated a support system of friends and family who understand and empathize with my mental health struggles, providing me with a network of individuals who I can rely on during difficult times. Lastly, I recognize the importance of setting boundaries and prioritizing balance in my life. This means learning to say no to overwhelming commitments and prioritizing activities that bring me joy and fulfillment, allowing me to protect my mental health and well-being. As a high school student, I have witnessed the profound impact of my mental health on various aspects of my life, including academic performance and personal relationships. By taking proactive steps to prioritize my mental well-being and seek out support, I am better equipped to manage my struggles and achieve success in both academic and personal realms. By ensuring that my mental health remains a priority, I can navigate the challenges of high school with resilience, strength, and a sense of empowerment.

      Youth Equine Service Scholarship
One of the most significant lessons I have learned through my volunteer service is the importance of empathy. When I first started volunteering, I had a desire to help others, but I didn't fully understand the depth of empathy required to truly connect with those in need. As I engaged in various volunteer activities, I began to see the world from different perspectives. I learned to listen and understand the struggles of others, and in doing so, I became more empathetic and compassionate. It also taught me the value of gratitude. In working with individuals who have faced adversity and hardship, I have become more appreciative of the privileges and blessings in my own life. Whether it's having a roof over my head, food on the table, or a supportive network of friends and family, I have recognized the importance of gratitude in shaping a positive mindset. Through my volunteer experiences, I have learned to be thankful for the things I often take for granted. There have been moments when I felt overwhelmed or unsure of how much impact I could truly have. But as I continued to dedicate my time and effort to volunteer work, I began to see the ripple effect of my actions. I realized that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a difference in someone's life. This has taught me to persevere in the face of challenges and to remain resilient in my commitment to making a positive impact in the world. Additionally, through my volunteer service, I have gained a deeper understanding of the importance of community and connection. I have formed meaningful relationships with other volunteers and individuals I have served, and these connections have enriched my life in countless ways. I have also learned the value of coming together as a community to support those in need and create positive change. My volunteer experiences have reinforced the belief that we are stronger when we work together and support one another. It has taught me invaluable life lessons that have shaped me into the person I am today. From learning empathy and gratitude to understanding the power of perseverance and community, I have grown in ways I never thought possible. My experiences as a volunteer have helped me to develop a deeper sense of purpose and fulfillment, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the world. I am committed to continuing my volunteer service and using it as a platform for personal growth and positive change in the lives of others.

As a young individual, I have always been deeply passionate about mental health and education. I have been fortunate to have access to resources and support systems that have allowed me to excel in these areas. However, I am acutely aware that this is not the case for everyone, and I am driven to make a positive impact in the lives of youth and adolescents who may not have the same advantages. This passion and drive inspires me to want to get involved in the mental health and education professions. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the struggles that some of my peers faced in terms of their mental well-being and education. I saw the impact that a lack of resources and support had on their lives, and it deeply affected me. These experiences have fueled my desire to pursue a career where I can make a tangible difference in the lives of young individuals facing similar challenges. As I envision myself contributing to the education and wellness of youth and adolescents in the future, I am drawn to the medical field as a means to do so. The medical field offers a unique opportunity to combine my passion for mental health and education in a way that allows me to have a direct impact on the lives of individuals in need. I see myself working within the medical field to not only provide therapeutic and medical support to those struggling with mental health issues but also to advocate for the importance of mental wellness and education in all aspects of society. I envision myself working within communities to increase access to mental health resources, and to implement programs that promote mental well-being and educational success for youth and adolescents. I am still considering multiple colleges to attend, but one thing remains constant - my dedication to making a difference in the lives of young individuals. I am seeking a college that not only provides a strong foundation in the medical field but also encourages a holistic approach to mental health and education. I am drawn to colleges that prioritize community engagement and offer opportunities for hands-on experience in working with youth and adolescents. In the future, I hope to use my education and experience to create a positive and lasting impact on the mental health and education of young individuals. Through my work, I aim to empower and support those in need, and to advocate for the value of mental wellness and education for all. By getting involved in the mental health and education professions, I am committed to making a meaningful difference and helping to create a brighter future for the youth and adolescents in our society.

Julie Adams Memorial Scholarship – Women in STEM
The underrepresentation of females in STEM fields has taught me the importance of resilience and determination. Despite the discouraging statistics, I have learned to persevere and push through any obstacles that come my way. I have become more determined than ever to shatter the glass ceiling and prove that women, particularly women of color, belong in the STEM field. I am an honorary member of my school's National Art Honors Society, and it has helped me understand the importance that STEM has on the community in which we have helped in even the most minuscule ways like providing STEM-related activities to enlighten them on the field. I hope to encourage young people, especially those from underrepresented and underserved communities, to pursue careers in STEM. By fostering a love for discovery and problem-solving in our youth, I believe we can harness the full potential of future generations and propel the advancement of STEM knowledge.

      Scorenavigator Financial Literacy Scholarship
As a high school student who is not yet independent, I have limited personal experience with finances and financial education. However, I recognize the importance of understanding these concepts to better navigate the challenges and responsibilities of adulthood. At this stage in my life, my experiences with finances are primarily limited to managing a small allowance and making basic purchases such as school supplies and occasional treats. I have observed my parents handling the family's finances, but I have not been directly involved in these discussions or decisions. While I am grateful for the financial support provided by my parents, I understand that this will not always be the case, and I will eventually need to become financially independent. I have observed how black people are more likely to be denied loans or charged higher interest rates compared to their white counterparts, which can hinder our ability to invest in assets such as homes or businesses. Despite these challenges, I am determined to take control of my financial future and break the cycle of financial illiteracy. I recognize the importance of learning about money management, investing, and building wealth, and I am committed to furthering my financial education to improve my financial situation. As a result, I have taken an interest in learning more about financial literacy. I have been exploring resources such as books, articles, and online courses that provide information on money management, budgeting, saving, investing, and other key concepts. I have also engaged in conversations with my parents to gain insights into their experiences with finances and to seek advice on how to approach these matters in the future. I learned about the value of money through small tasks like saving up for a desired item or budgeting for personal expenses. This early exposure to money management instilled in me the importance of being mindful of my spending habits and being responsible with my finances. Additionally, I learned about the concept of savings and the importance of setting aside a portion of my income for the future. In addition to self-education, I also take advantage of the financial education opportunities available in my high school and community. By immersing myself in these learning opportunities, I hope to develop a strong foundation of financial knowledge and skills that will serve me well in the years to come. I aim to build a solid financial footing that will support my aspirations and provide me with the freedom to pursue my passions.
      Book Lovers Scholarship
If I could have everyone in the world read one book, It'd be hard for me to choose a preference because I read a lot. But since you're insisting I'd say 'The Heart's Invisible Furies'. This might seem like a strange choice at first, but there are many reasons why I believe this book deserves to be read by everyone. It is a novel that spans the lifetime of its main character, Cyril Avery, as he navigates the joys and struggles of life as a gay man in Ireland. The book is not just a coming-of-age story; it's a rich tapestry of historical events, personal triumphs and tragedies, and ultimately, a celebration of the resilience of the human spirit. I chose this book partly because I believe everyone can relate to the themes it presents. Whether you are LGBTQ+ or not, the book deals with universal human experiences such as love, loss, friendship, and the quest for understanding and acceptance. By reading this book, people can gain a greater empathy for those who have faced discrimination and oppression and hopefully work towards creating a more compassionate society. The novel is set against the backdrop of major historical events, including the AIDS crisis, the marriage equality movement, and the Catholic Church's influence on Irish society. By reading about these events through Cyril's eyes, readers can gain a deeper understanding of the impact, as I have, they had on individuals and communities. This can lead to important conversations and reflections on how our past shapes our present and future. The book also beautifully showcases the power of storytelling. Boyne's writing is both captivating and emotionally resonant, and his ability to create complex, multidimensional characters makes this book a truly immersive experience. By reading this novel, people can appreciate the art of storytelling, which is something I admire profoundly. It serves as a powerful reminder of the human capacity for resilience and hope. Cyril's journey is filled with hardships and heartbreak, yet he never loses his sense of humor or his determination to live authentically. By witnessing his resilience, readers can be inspired to face their challenges. A book that has the potential to foster empathy and understanding in its readers can spark important conversations about identity, history, and the human experience. By sharing this book with everyone, we can work towards creating a more inclusive and compassionate world.

If I could only watch one movie for the rest of my life, it would be 'Queen of Katwe'. Apart from the fact that I know all the lines, there are many reasons why I would choose to watch 'The Queen of Katwe' above all other movies. The film is a powerful and moving story of triumph over adversity. Phiona's journey from poverty and hardship to success and recognition is both heartwarming and uplifting. As an African, I admire that the movie offers a unique and important perspective on African culture and society. It portrays the vibrant and diverse community of Katwe, shedding light on the everyday struggles and triumphs of its residents. It challenges the stereotypes and misconceptions often associated with African countries and provides a more authentic and nuanced portrayal of life on the continent. Also, the movie's themes of determination, perseverance, and the power of education are incredibly relevant and relatable. Phiona's passion for chess and her dedication to mastering the game is a powerful reminder of the value of hard work and commitment. The film also highlights the transformative impact of education in breaking the cycle of poverty and creating opportunities for individuals to thrive. The main point is the message that education has the power to change lives. Through the game of chess, Phiona discovers a world beyond the confines of her community and develops the skills and confidence to pursue her dreams. The film highlights the transformative impact of education and the importance of providing opportunities for children to reach their full potential. Phiona's story is a testament to the fact that with access to education and the support of a strong community, anyone can achieve greatness. It reminds me of the power of resilience in the face of adversity and the importance of supporting and uplifting those in need. It is a film that not only entertains and inspires, but also educates and encourages empathy and understanding. 'The Queen of Katwe' is a deeply moving and compelling film that offers an inspiring story, important cultural insights, and universal themes that resonate with audiences of all backgrounds. Netflix and Scholarships!
Human Resources!! It is my absolute favorite Netflix series. Well, it all started with the Big Mouth series- which I've been following ever since the first episode- when I noticed the hormone monsters, and later on the other monsters. Technically whenever I watch a show I try to listen to the characters, not just hear the words but relate to what is being said. Then I'm like 'I can relate', 'That is so true', and 'Nice reference', and immerse myself in everything happening. I love human resources on Netflix because it's like stepping into a world where every office drama and workplace shenanigan is laid bare for our entertainment. It’s like peeking into the wild, wacky, and sometimes wondrous world of HR, where the characters are as diverse as the problems they face. It's like a reality show but with the added hilarity of well-captioned subtitles and the absurdity of real-life office situations. Additionally, the writing on human resources is top-notch. The dialogue is witty and clever, and the comedic timing is always on point. I admire the writers because I always find myself trying to write something. My drafts always start great but I just move to another one and read more and more of people who finish their writing. The show manages to tackle serious issues in a lighthearted and approachable way, which makes it the perfect show to unwind and laugh along with. It’s like walking through the doors of a corporate office and observing the drama unfold before your very eyes. You get to see the ups and downs of the characters, their struggles and triumphs, their joys and frustrations, and the ever-present chaos of office politics. It’s like being a fly on the wall but with the fabulous benefit of being able to hit pause, rewind, and re-watch all the juicy moments. Sometimes I even feel ridiculous when I'm caught smiling or reacting extremely to what I'm watching. I find myself blushing when Emmy flirts(or tries to) with Van. It's hilarious when I tell myself 'Pull it together, you're not even on the show'. But perhaps the biggest reason I love human resources on Netflix is because it’s relatable. Whether you’ve worked in an office setting or not, you can’t help but find a little piece of yourself in each character. We’ve all had that one co-worker who drives us up the wall, that one boss who’s always breathing down our neck, or that one office party that goes wrong. The show captures the absurdity and the hilarity of office life, and it’s all too familiar. With its compelling characters, relatable situations, and outrageous plot twists, it’s a show that keeps you coming back for more. Watching the HR team navigate the chaos of office life never fails to put a smile on my face, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and engaging show to binge-watch. So grab some popcorn, hit play, and get ready for a rollercoaster ride through the hilarious world of human resources!

I believe being a good citizen means taking an active role in the development of society. This includes acting responsibly, being informed and aware of current issues, and participating in the democratic process. It means obeying laws, paying taxes, and respecting the rights of others. Being a good citizen also means being an active member of the community, volunteering, and contributing in any way possible to make the country a better place for everyone. One integral aspect of being a good citizen is exercising the right to vote. Voting is the cornerstone of a democratic society, and it is crucial for the maintenance of a free nation. The act of voting allows citizens to express their opinions, hold their leaders accountable, and ensure that their voices are heard in the decision-making process. I think that without voting, the fundamental right to choose our leaders and shape the direction of our society would be compromised, and our nation would cease to be free. The Constitution is a foundational document that outlines the principles, rights, and responsibilities of both the government and the citizens. It serves as a roadmap for our country, providing a framework for governance and protecting the rights of the people. To me, the Constitution represents the values of freedom, equality, and justice that are fundamental to the identity of our nation. It is a living document that ensures that the government remains transparent, accountable, and responsive to the needs of its citizens. Voting is integral in remaining a free nation as it allows for the voice of the people to be heard and for change to be implemented. The Constitution holds great significance to me as it ensures that our rights and freedoms are protected. As a good citizen, it is important for me to uphold the principles outlined in the constitution and to be an active participant in the democratic process. As a good citizen, I strive to stay informed about current events and issues that affect our society. I understand the importance of being an active participant in my community. The Constitution also embodies the ideal of a government that is of the people, by the people, and for the people. It guarantees our rights and freedoms, including freedom of speech, religion, and assembly, as well as the right to due process, equal protection under the law, and the right to vote. It also establishes the separation of powers and the system of checks and balances that prevent any one branch of government from becoming too powerful.

As I reflect on my life and the impact I want to make on the world, I am reminded of the quote by Mahatma Gandhi, "Be the change you wish to see in the world." This quote resonates with me on a deep level, as I have always been driven to make a positive impact on the world and leave a lasting legacy that inspires and uplifts others. I'm Fareeda Olaiya and I'm Nigerian. I come from a well-respected moral-based background in Osun State, Osogbo. I am 16 years old and I am a senior at Pennsville Memorial High School. One thing I can't help mentioning is that I love reading and writing stories. I always find ways to indulge myself in one book or the other and try to refer books to friends. I have two siblings- a twin brother and a younger sister. I am the oldest ( as I like to remind myself) and I help around the house whenever I can. From a young age, I have been driven by a desire to help others and to leave a lasting impact on the world. This passion has led me to pursue a career in medicine, and I plan to leverage my skills and expertise to address pressing social and environmental issues. Through my work, I aim to create solutions that are not only effective in the short term but also have a lasting and positive impact on future generations. One of the ways I hope to make a positive impact through my future career is by advocating for and implementing sustainable and ethical practices. I hope to lead by example and inspire others to do the same. The main reason I plan to venture into the field of medicine is the state of my home country as a whole. Nigeria is not very strong in the health sector, and diseases are one of the main mortality factors that affect citizens. I believe I can make a difference and the new Nigeria I plan to work toward is an arm's length away( specifically a scholarship, years studying, working a job, more plans, and a flight away). I am also passionate about social justice and human rights. Through my future career, I plan to advocate for marginalized communities and work towards creating a more inclusive and equitable society. Whether it be through policy advocacy, community outreach, or education, I am dedicated to amplifying the voices of those who have been historically marginalized and advocating for their rights and well-being. Furthermore, I am committed to promoting education and access to resources for underserved communities. I believe that education is a fundamental human right and a powerful tool for empowerment. I plan to work towards bridging the education gap and providing opportunities for individuals who have been denied access to quality education. Investing in education can create more opportunities for individuals to reach their full potential and contribute to a more prosperous and just society. I know the road ahead will be filled with challenges and obstacles. However, I am driven by the belief that my actions, no matter how small, can contribute to a larger, collective effort to build a better world. I am committed to embodying the change I wish to see and inspiring others to join me in this mission.
