Hi, I am a 26 year old single mother. I am an undergraduate student pursuing my bachelors in Business Administration. My life goals are to obtain a bachelors degree in Business Administration with my concentration in Health Organization Administration. I am most passionate about better myself and my life for my son. I am determined to give my child the absolute best life I can possibly give him and that means working hard every single day to provide everything necessary for him to be successful in this world. I believe that I am a great candidate for this scholarship because I give back to my community as much as I possibly can. I volunteer at benefits for people in my community as often as possible I feel that I am a very giving person and that is why I would love to be awarded this scholarship, so that I may continue my education and give back to my community even more.
I am a single mom of a beautiful four year old which is why I am continuing my educational path so that I can be better for my child. I have realized that my child deserves the absolute best that I can possibly give and also that I owe it to my child to be a better more successful mother.

Bold Creativity Scholarship
Creativity keeps life interesting. I like to be creative with everything I do in life. I love doing arts and crafts, but I also enjoy cooking and being creative with how I cook or what I cook. I have a four year old so I have to keep things interesting for him and I do that being creative with every aspect of his daily life. For example, when we play with his toys we build all kinds of cities to be able to play with his figurines and matchbox cars. We also do arts and crafts for fun, but also for family gifts. We enjoy gifting our family homemade DIY gifts for holidays and to do so I have to keep my creative mind in action at all times. My son enjoys having food in shapes, so I keep cookie cutters and such to be able to cut out his food in different creative ways so that he will actually eat his food. I feel that I deserve this scholarship so that I can further my education and keep being creative for my child.
Bold Persistence Scholarship
As a Native American citizen living within Cherokee Nation jurisdiction I have always wanted to work for Cherokee Nation. Since I turned 18 years old I have applied for every job I was qualified for, but I couldn’t ever get hired. Finally, in 2020 after I had completed a billing and coding course I applied again for a position in billing. Little did I know within a few days of applying I would be called for an interview. I was so excited I couldn’t contain the excitement. I am proud to say after 6 years of trying I am finally a very proud employee of Cherokee Nation Health Services. August 2, 2022 will mark my two anniversary working for such an amazing establishment. I am proud to say that I was persistent and even though it took 6 years to get the job of my dreams I am forever thankful for this opportunity! I can honestly say that I see myself working here for the rest of my career I am excited to retire from here many years from now.
Bold Goals Scholarship
For as long as I can remember I’ve written down my goals whether they are weekly, monthly, 6-12 month goals or just daily goals. I find that if I write my goals down it helps keep me more accountable so that I am actually achieving those goals. My goals for the future include bettering myself educationally, being a better mom, and working towards better my career.
My plan to better myself educationally starts by going back to college to finish my degree in business administration. A few weeks ago I made the decision to apply at my local university and I was accepted. I have met with my academic advisor and lined up which classes I will be taking in the fall of 2022. My goal is to complete this semester with A’s and B’s only so I am striving hard to prepare myself to study a lot.
In order to be a better mom for my children I have set aside time each day outside of school, work, sporting activities, and whatever else to make sure that we spend quality time together. I want my kids to know that everything I do as a mother and adult is for them and their needs. I hope that going back to school while working full time shows my children how much they mean to me and that I want to be the best I can be for them.
Finally, to better my career I am obtaining my bachelors degree so that new opportunities arise for me within my career. By gaining a degree so many doors to move up in my career will be available to me.
These are all the reasons that I truly need this scholarship. I need scholarships so that I can complete my degree.
