Historically, systemic barriers and socioeconomic challenges have hindered access to proper healthcare. By making medications affordable, individuals within the black community can receive timely treatment, leading to better health outcomes and reducing the disproportionate burden of diseases. Ultimately, college provides opportunities for personal growth and networking, allowing me to build valuable relationships and connections that can help in my future career.
