My name is Ezekiel Sproule. Furthering my education has been instilled in me by my parents since I was a little boy. Attending college was a common topic discussed in my household. Furthering my education will open many opportunities for me. I believe having choices for my future is the key to success and happiness. I do not want to be forced in a job because I don't have a secondary education. Art and music have played an essential role in my life, serving as an outlet for self-expression and a way to navigate challenges. Whether through listening to music or creating visual art, I use these forms to process my emotions and find inspiration. Drawing, in particular, has been a passion for as long as I can remember. My parents introduced me to drawing when I was a child, and together, we would create comic books-memories that I cherish deeply. This experience not only strengthened our bond but also ignited my love for creativity. Designing structures and bringing ideas to life on paper along with video games gives me a sense of peace, allowing me to focus and escape from life's pressures. Art has taught me patience and the power of storytelling, both of which continue to shape my identity. It is more than just a hobby; it is a fundamental part of who I am, driving my ambition to succeed and inspiring me to pursue a future where I can continue to create and innovate. Growing up, the word "crime" was something I heard daily. My father is a sergeant in our local police department, and his career in law enforcement deeply impacted my life. His commitment to protecting our community meant that he often had to work long hours, sacrificing time that could have been spent with family. As an only child growing up I spent a great amount of time alone, and my father's absence due to his demanding job made me feel his absence even more. While I was incredibly proud of my father, it was difficult to see crime take away so much of his time and energy. I viewed my father as not as a parent but also one of my closest friends, and having him taken away from me, even if for a noble cause, shaped my childhood in profound ways. His service taught me resilience, discipline, and the importance of giving back to my community. It also fueled my determination to pursue higher education, ensuring that I have the ability to choose a career path that allows me to make a meaningful impact while also maintaining strong personal relationships. Crime may have influenced my upbringing, but it has also inspired me to work forward a future where I can create stability and opportunities for myself and others. I just want to take the time to express my condolences to the McGlone family.I am so sorry your family had to experience this. I pray one day soon you get answers and the truth on what happened to Brittany. Thank you for taking the time to read my essay.

What does it mean to be a good law enforcement officer and how should officers impact your community? I have first hand experience with the answer to this question because my father is a sergeant at Tucson Police Department. I have went on many ride a long's with him and me personally have found the answer to what it means to be a good law enforcement officer and how officers should impact a community. I believe a good law enforcement embodies integrity, leadership, justice and dedication to public service. Law enforcement officers uphold the law with respect for all individuals, demonstrating empathy and understanding in their interactions with civilians. Effective communication and conflict resolution skills are essential, allowing officers to de-escalate tense situations and build trust within the community. Officers remain committed to ongoing training and self improvement, staying informed about the laws, technologies, and best practices. Being a good officer doesn't only mean to catch bad guys but it also means to help people in need. I remember seeing an officer on the side of the road changing someone's tire and I know for a fact that officer helped the community just by doing that. Above all, a good officer is a guardian of public safety, working days on end to protect and serve while fostering a sense of justice and I have personally seen all of that while shadowing my father. Officers should positively impact the community by fostering trust and safety. They should engage with residents proactively, building relationships through regular interactions and community involvement. By being approachable and transparent, officers can create an environment where community members feel comfortable sharing concerns and reporting crimes. Law enforcement officers should prioritize fairness and respect, ensuring that their actions reflect the values of justice and equality. Through these efforts, officers can help create a safer, more cohesive and resilient community. In conclusion, being a good law enforcement officer extends beyond the enforcement of laws to encompass qualities of integrity, empathy and commitment to public service. Such officers are not only effective enforcers but also trusted and respected community members who work tirelessly to ensure safety and justice for all. Their impact on the community should be profound and positive, characterized by trust building, proactive engagement, and collaboration with residents and local organizations. By embodying these principles, officers can foster a safer, more united community where everyone feels valued and protected.
