Hello my name is Evie! My family and I built our own house that we just finished up in the mountains. My junior year in high school I lived in a 12x16 "house" with 3 other members of my family while my dad built full time. We lived without plumbing or running water that whole time. But do not fear! I am glad to say that we finally have moved in and have plumbing as well as personal space! I love rock climbing and have done two climbing intensives with my school. In the summers I love backpacking and in the winters I love to ski! I completed my first sprint Triathalon this fall and won first in my age group but you want to know a little secret? I was the only girl in the age group so I would have won no matter what ;). Im passionate about women's health and for my senior project I am researching how female athletes can optimize athletic performance using biology. During my Junior year of high school I did a 3 week internship at Animas Surgical Hospital in Durango CO and discovered my love of health and medicine. I aspire to get my EMT and study to become a physicians assistant!
