I am a proud first-generation, low-income, queer Mexican-American student who is also a dual-enrollment student. In may, I will earn my associate's degree and high school diploma. I want to work in the Foreign Service and major in international relations with a Mexican-American relations concentration. My objective is to better represent my fellow Hispanic community by increasing Latina college enrollment and graduation rates. My ultimate goal is to earn a master's degree and serve as the role model I so desperately wanted to be while I grew up in my family and community.
