When you're going to change the world, don’t ask for permission. This is a notion that I strive to live by. Hello! My name is Eve. I'm currently an undergraduate student studying computer science at community college, and I am currently working towards a successful transfer to a more competitive school and program in the fall of 2023. I have a keen interest in robotics, nanotechnology, and programming. I hope to one day step into the tech industry and create innovations that no one has ever seen before. I am a first-generation college student as well as the second person in my family to graduate high school, my elder brother being the first. Growing up in a family that struggled to make ends meet as well as spending the majority of my life hampered by extremely severe scoliosis, I've had my fair share of "hardships." But I consider myself extremely fortunate to have had it better than others. Because I was unable to have a typical childhood experience due to my chronic illness, I found solace in technology, specifically programming, and being able to create things without physically exerting myself; this is where my passion for STEM and Computer Science began! I was fortunate enough to have most of my scoliosis fixed through surgery in 2020, I have put all of my renewed vigor into helping me focus more on my dreams of being able to create good in the world through innovation and tech.
