Bio

My name is Evangelina Kane and thank you for viewing my profile. My life goal is to make life better for others. Specifically, in the lives of the future students I plan to teach. My desire to become a future educator started in the 7th Grade, when I was inspired by my teachers to pursue a career in education. I attribute a large portion of my success to the amazing qualities that my past and current teachers have, such as a positive attitude, organized lesson plans, and empathetic personalities. I want to incorporate these same positive qualities I identified in each of my educators as a part of who I am when I become a teacher as well. I want my students to not only feel comfortable with my lessons, but also with who they are as a person. I want them to always carry with them the knowledge that their futures are full of endless possibility for themselves and for the better good of the world. But most importantly, I would want them to know that they are safe in my classroom. Everyone comes from different backgrounds, family situations, and have their own problems to deal with. I understand that this world is not always the safest place. This is why I will make it my top priority to make every child feel protected and welcomed no matter what and let them know that I am always a shoulder they can lean on if need be. Despite the fact that I will be spending years earning my Doctorate, it is worth the dedication to have the privilege of bettering the lives of all my future students, and not just through academics, but through personal, individual connections with every child.
