I plan to make my community a better place by using my passion for automotive technology to help people in practical and meaningful ways. Cars are a big part of everyday life, especially in the United States, where most people depend on them to get to work, school, and take care of their responsibilities. Because of this, I want to build a career where I can not only work on cars but also help others better understand and take care of their vehicles.
After college, I plan to work in the automotive industry, possibly with a dealership or a company like Tesla or Ford. My goal is to continue learning about new automotive technologies while gaining hands on experience. As cars become more advanced, especially with electric and smart vehicles, I want to stay updated so I can provide reliable and modern solutions to customers. I also want to grow professionally so I can take on bigger roles in the future and possibly lead or manage my own team.
In addition to my career, I also want to give back to my community by helping people who may not have much knowledge about cars. Many people get overcharged or confused at repair shops simply because they don’t understand what their car needs. I want to change that by educating others. Even simple things like teaching someone how to check their oil, understand warning lights, or keep up with basic maintenance can make a big difference in their daily life and save them money.
Currently, I am already starting in small ways. I help friends and people around me when they have questions about cars or need advice. Sometimes, even explaining a small issue helps them feel more confident. In the future, I also plan to use social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to create content about cars. I want to share tips, explain common problems, and show real life experiences in a way that is simple and easy to understand.
By doing this, I can reach more people and make automotive knowledge more accessible. I also hope to inspire others, especially young people like me, to explore careers in technical fields and follow their passions. I believe that sharing knowledge is one of the best ways to help others grow and succeed.
Overall, I want to use my passion and skills not just for personal success, but to make a positive impact. By helping people feel more confident about their vehicles and saving them time and money, I believe I can make everyday life a little easier for my community and beyond.

Kindness in Action
One meaningful act of kindness I showed was helping a new student who had just moved from another country. I understood how difficult that experience can be because I went through something similar when I first moved to the United States. I noticed that he often sat alone during lunch and didn’t really participate in class, which reminded me of how I felt when I was new.
I decided to talk to him one day and just start with a simple conversation. I asked him where he was from and how he was adjusting to the new school. At first, he seemed shy, but over time he became more comfortable. I started helping him with schoolwork when he didn’t understand something, especially because of language differences. I also introduced him to my friends so he wouldn’t feel left out anymore.
As time passed, I could see a big change in him. He started talking more in class, making friends, and becoming more confident. That made me feel really good because I knew I helped him in some way.
This moment was important to me because I know how hard it is to be new and feel alone. When I first came here, I wished someone had helped me like that. This experience taught me that even small acts of kindness can have a big impact on someone’s life. It also helped me become more aware of others and encouraged me to always try to include people who feel left out.
Boldly, Unapologetically Me
A time I chose to be true to myself was when I decided to pursue automotive technology instead of only following a traditional college path. Many people around me expected me to go straight into a typical four-year degree with a common major, but I have always been interested in cars, how they work, and hands-on learning.
At first, I felt some pressure from others who thought choosing a technical path might not be the best decision. Some people made it seem like it was less successful compared to other careers. This made me question myself for a while, but instead of just following what others said, I decided to do my own research and think about what I really wanted.
I realized that starting with an automotive technology program and then moving into a mechanical engineering technology degree matched my goals perfectly. It allows me to do something I enjoy while still building a strong future career.
Choosing this path wasn’t easy because I had to ignore outside opinions and trust my own interests. In the end, I understood that success looks different for everyone, and I shouldn’t base my decisions on what others expect.
This experience taught me to be confident in who I am and what I want. Being unapologetically myself means making choices based on my passions and goals, not pressure. It gave me more confidence and motivation to work toward the future I truly want.
