Hi! My name is Eunice. I am a rising sophomore at Stony Brook University majoring in Biology on the pre-health track. I currently work as an optometric assistant at an optometry office, conducting vision tests such as autorefraction, topography, and visual field. I am also responsible for verifying insurance, communicating with patients, and daily scheduling. The opportunity to work at an optometry office has sparked my interest in pursuing a Doctor of Optometry in the future. I have aspired to work in the healthcare field since high school. Not only because I hope to one day be able to ease people’s physical pain but also because I hope to provide them security and hope through precise diagnosis and treatment programs. I also have a special interest in theatre production. I was an active member in my high school's theatre community since Freshman year. I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of collaborating with my classmates to produce our original musicals.
