Hello there! My name is Eunah Maumbe. I am passionate about using technology, education, and entrepreneurship to create meaningful change. I am committed to expanding STEM education to underrepresented communities while leveraging technology to drive sustainability and social impact.
I started a Girls Who Code chapter at my school, where I teach code, lead workshops and hackathons to encourage more young women to pursue tech careers. I was also selected as a Kode With Klossy scholar and Camp Instructional Assistant. Most importantly, I teach STEM coding courses virtually to children in orphanages in Zambia and Zimbabwe, ensuring that underserved youth have access to the same opportunities that changed my life.
As a state-qualifying speech competitor and Youth Ambassador for the World Literary Foundation, I use my voice to advocate for education and accessibility in tech. I plan to major in computer science and develop scalable platforms for free, interactive coding lessons to empower underrepresented communities in STEM.
With my dedication to technology, education, and social impact, I am excited to use my skills to empower communities, and drive meaningful change. As a Bold.org scholarship recipient, I would continue to pursue my mission of making STEM education and ethical innovation more accessible worldwide.
