I read a quote in a book once that said, "The biggest enemy to your success is your excuse." So I try to live my life without excuses. My first goal is to graduate from college without debt. I believe this will help me in life as I continue my education to achieve my master's degree in Athletic Training and become the senior athletic trainer for a NBA team. I love basketball and everything about it. My second love is World War II history. Some of my strengths include being restorative, consistent, keeping the harmony, achiever and I love including others.

Bold Financial Literacy Scholarship
Knowing when and when not to spend money. After getting my first job I used to spend like crazy and did not think to save much of my money and would usually spend most of it before I got my next paycheck. In doing this I learned that not saving money can be a very bad thing as I ran into car trouble and it was expensive, but since I spent a lot of the money I would get I was unable to pay it and thankfully had parents willing to pay to fix my car so I could get to school, work, and practice. After this incident, I began to save chunks of my paychecks for things I might need later such as possible car expenses, college, insurance, and a fund that I would put a little money in so that if I wanted to purchase something for myself that wasn't cheap to be able to pay for it without dipping into other things. Since then I have not run into money troubles and have been able to live stress-free in regard to my money.
Healthy Living Scholarship
Having a healthy lifestyle is important to me because I want to live my life to the fullest and I feel I can only achieve that by having a healthy lifestyle. Me being healthy means I can do anything I want to do if I was still living an unhealthy lifestyle like I used to live two years ago I would not be at the place I am now. I have been able to do things and go places I would only dream about two years ago and it only happened by getting determined enough to try and change the way I lived for the better. I used to eat unhealthy all the time making me overweight and feeling sluggish all the time and I was not in a good place mentally but I thankfully had people in my life that helped me out and got me to be the best me I can be.
