My goal in life is to have a job that I love with enough money to live comfortably and do things that I enjoy like traveling.
I am driven and once I set a goal for myself I work to achieve that goal, for example three years ago I set a goal to graduate high school with an associates degree and as of May 13th 2022 I officially graduated with an associates degree a week before my high school graduation.

I am excited for lithium-metal batteries to come out, if these batteries are successful in electric vehicles it could be the turning point for cleaner transport which would improve air quality around large cities such as San Francisco and New York City. These batteries have the potential to allow electric vehicles to travel further on one charge than current electric vehicles are able to.
Pool Family LGBT+ Scholarship
Being part of the LGBTQ+ community has allowed me to make some good friends and create new and exciting relationships with people. One experience I had was at a pride event, I was there alone and didn't know anyone and I had a very kind woman come up to me to strike up a conversation and we ended up talking throughout the entire event. I think that it was extremely nice of her to go out of up to a stranger just to make me feel welcome and less like an outsider even though she had no obligation to nor did it benefit her in any way. For a career I'd like to go into cyber security and prevent people's personal data from being made public, my biggest aspiration is to make sure that people can't target LGBTQ+ community members or anyone just because of who they love or what religion they belong to.
