A Dental Hygienists once told me " The mouth Is like an onion , there are multiple and interesting layers to It". Which to me an onion Is kinda silly to compare , but I understood what she meant.To my perspective It sounds like the mouth is world wide web, there are so many engaging factors when it comes to the mouth. After that conversation , I then began to take Medical classes my junior year , I took "Intro into the medical career" and "Anatomy & physiology". I passed those classes and to be more prepared I began studying now before I even get accepted to Dental school, It's better to get ahead! To get prepared , I am getting private lessons with a Dental hygienist who now teaches at a School/College. Furthermore I have been studying the teeth numbers and names ,It reminds me of one big oval .I want to be best I can , I want to make my mother proud, since she didn't get to do what she truly wanted to do. If I had this scholarship it would not only benefit with the money but also boost my confidence and encourage me to keep pushing through. I may not have the prettiest GPA but I am a hard worker , I really enjoy helping people , and when I see a smile on somebody's face I know I did something right. That's another reason why I want to work in the Dentistry Field , I relish seeing people with their bright smiles ear to ear. Our mouth Is what gives us most of our face like structures and that's why Its so fascinating to me. My name Is Essence , I'm a senior at Emerald Ridge High school , My career choice Is to be a Dental Hygienist and would we really be grateful to be gifted this scholarship.
