Bio

I am currently a sophomore at Colorado School of Mines where I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Aerospace. In 2017, I lost my Dad to Bile Duct Cancer. This was a devastating loss for me as he was my biggest supporter as well as a stay-at-home dad. This loss completely changed the structure of our home. I felt like I lost part of myself when he died. In 2021, I joined Lead Colorado in order to learn more about leadership and how to become a better leader. This 18-month program helped me learn more about myself and created some amazing relationships with the other members of the program. As a freshman at Mines, I participated in their First Year Semester Abroad Experience where I spent my first semester of college in Antibes, France. I spent 4 months in Antibes where I studied at SKEMA in Sophia Antipolis and traveled around Europe to learn and experience different cultures. This provided me with opportunities to connect with new people and learn from world-class professors. I am excited for the opportunity to study abroad in New Zealand during Fall 2025. I am excited to continue my education in engineering while exploring the world and new cultures!
