Not only finding happiness from objects, but by forming relationships with people and letting them grow with me to be the best person I can. My journey towards success has been marked by various challenges, including struggling with anxiety and depression. These mental health issues have made it difficult for me to fully engage with my aspirations and have impacted my overall well-being. I felt as though I wasn't myself anymore. However, I have persevered, seeking help and support from loved ones and professionals, and have made significant changes in my lifestyle to help me change for the better. In managing and overcoming these challenges, I have not only grown emotionally by myself, but this has had a great impact on the people around me. I cut toxic people out of my life, gave myself a fresh start, and found people who actually care about me. This opportunity will further contribute to my success by helping me be able to afford a supportive environment that values mental well-being and provides resources to help me continue to thrive despite these obstacles. Additionally, I have experienced profound loss through the passing of my beloved grandma and grandpa. I lost my grandpa in 2020, and my grandma more recently in January of 2024. Their absence has created a void in my life, and processing and coping with their death has been an hard journey. Even though this was hard, their legacies continue to inspire me, and I am driven to honor their memories by striving for success. This opportunity serves as a means to further this pursuit, as it will equip me with the skills and knowledge needed to make a meaningful impact in their honor and to carry forward the values they instilled in me.
