As a first-generation college student and a young woman, I have always been determined to create my own path to higher education, despite the obstacles I’ve faced. Growing up in a family where no one had the opportunity to attend college.I often felt like I was navigating in new ways. My journey has not only shaped my academic and personal goals but has also instilled in me a deep sense of resilience and a desire to break barriers for those who follow in my footsteps.I didn't want to repeat the cycle of wondering whether or not i have money for something and worry for another it's something my parents did but to live here and it paid off but left me thinking if thats how my life might be.I want more for myself. With this I want to expand my knowledge and create more opportunities not only for me but my future generational family to show they can also do it.Having parents with low incomes there is always the same question: who is going to pay for it? How much is it ? But knowing there are many open chances into being deeply into debt.I want to follow a career path that leaves me well but not only me but family and others having the knowledge to help so.Therefore I planned to major into medicine there are many positions of the medical field but anything that can help someone with their health is worth it.Pursuing a big impactful career can lead others to do the same as they see a young female doctor or anything medical that is important it can inspire as health is something so important for the body and the lives of people.But I know this career involves lots of hard work,time, and more but i'm willing to take a step into that knowing it will pay off in the future. Knowing that I can be secure and if I want to start a family they don’t have to worry like I did knowing that my career is important but having the secure ability financially is important also.With this not only does it benefit me but others as well most likely my family,patients,and possible future people. Despite everything I’ve learned, hard work, determination, and education are the keys to changing my future. By pursuing a career in medicine, I hope to not only achieve my dreams but also inspire others to believe they can succeed knowing that this can be a start off to it.
