I am a meteorology major at the University of Missouri pursuing an accelerated master’s degree with a focus on improving public response to severe weather. My passion for weather began in childhood and has grown into a commitment to helping communities stay safe through clear, effective communication. I currently serve as a Career Specialist at the Mizzou Career Center and a Campus Weather Forecast Mentor, roles that have strengthened my communication, leadership, and outreach skills. I am actively involved in Phi Mu, the Mizzou Meteorology Club, and Women in Meteorology, and I have held leadership positions during both Homecoming and Greek Week. After completing my degrees, I aspire to work as a forecaster for the National Weather Service, where I hope to combine my scientific training with my dedication to public service to make a meaningful impact on community safety.
