I am a single mother of one adult child, two elementary age children, many animal babies and newly promoted grandmother. I am a breast cancer survivor and, over the past several years, have experienced trauma, loss and fought just to survive. I discovered such powerful healing in my animals. I am pursuing equine assisted therapy and plan to become equine assisted EMDR certified. My ultimate dream is to have a facility offering trauma informed equine assisted therapy for cancer survivors and first responders. My current occupation is full time medical helicopter dispatcher and part time 911 dispatcher. I have to work two jobs just to make ends meet to raise my children. I dream of the day when I am able to continue to give back to my community while working one career with my own practice with a facility that can become a family legacy for generations to come. Healing Hoofbeat Homestead will be my reality someday!
