As a PhD student and Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, I serve clients at the University of North Texas' Child and Family Resource Clinic. I work with children in play therapy, adults in individual talk therapy, all ages in group therapy, and can also administer psychological assessments for children and teens from the ages of 6-16. All my services are bro-bono.
My research interests include military family systems, social vulnerabilities in mass trauma and critical events, and navigating mental healthcare systems among minoritized populations. My professional experience spans university counseling clinics, community agencies, private practice, and public-school settings. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, Nationally Certified Counselor, and I am working toward certification as a Certified Child-Centered Play Therapist.
