Bio

Hello! I’m a first-year student at Yale University majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. I hope to pursue an MD-PhD and bridge scientific research with compassionate care. My goal is to study disease at both the molecular and human levels—understanding how biology, culture, and community shape health. Beyond science, I’m passionate about art, history, and Korean culture. Engaging with K-pop, visual art, and Asian American community initiatives has deepened my understanding of identity and belonging. I see art and science as two languages for exploring and better understanding the world around us and what makes us human. I try to approach every opportunity with curiosity, empathy, and purpose. Whether in a lab, classroom, or community space, I aim to connect disciplines and people and work toward a future where medicine is as humane and inclusive as it is innovative.
