I'm a junior in college going for Wildlife Ecology with a concentration in Wildlife Science and Management. I'm striving to learn everything I can about different organisms and the ecosystem to be able to protect them better for future generations. I want to be able to teach kids about the wonders of the world and why they are so important.

My mental health crushes me but I think I'm luckier than most being able to find support even though it's not perfect. My parents grew up in a time when mental health issues just weren't talked about. If you were having issues it was "suck it up buttercup". They don't really understand the concept but they try to give me everything I need to succeed at school. I'm grateful for that.
My dog is a great support as well. She is a bright light on my dark days. She gives nothing but unconditional love even though she probably doesn't know what's wrong. She has one of the purest hearts.
My friends from home will always be there for me no matter what but they have their own lives to live. They have their own struggles that they deal with. On that level we can relate and we make good counsel for each other when we're having issues but we're too busy with school work to talk a lot like we used to.
My biggest support might be my boyfriend. He knows what it's like to struggle because he's been there. I supported him in his time of need and he supports me too. He's so patient when I'm sad or frustrated. One day I just had this overwhelming urge to cry when we were supposed to be having fun. He just sat with me, and held me until I felt better. He's one of my greatest loves for that.
I'd also like to mention some support that I get from my future goals and passions. The things I want to accomplish in life help keep me focused on succeeding. I want to be a zookeeper, a teacher, a hobby farmer with animals and plants to take care of, and most importantly I want to be a mother one day. I want to be able to raise them and teach them about the wonders of the world. They don't exist yet but they are my support and some day I'll be theirs.
