My life goals are constantly evolving, but my motivation remains the same. Which is to hard work for my family and my community. Currently finishing my studies at Technology High School, I am hardworking toward a career in the Electrical field. My "why" is simple, I want to be the best version of myself so that I can buy a home and retire my mother. To me, a scholarship isn't just financial aid, it's a tool that helps me transition from a student to a professional who gives back to his community and his family.

Dream career goals:
Dave Russell Memorial Scholarship for Skilled Trades
I am pursuing the electrical trade because I have always been drawn to hands on work. My educators and mentors strongly encouraged me to turn this interest into a career. Choosing a trade school like Lincoln Tech is the right path for me, it allows me to focus on the challenges and high demand skills while avoiding the traditional college route, which did not align with my personal goals.
If given the chance to pay it forward, I would help to be a mentor for future trade school students. My goal is to inspire the next generation by showing them trade schools are a noble and essential career route in today's society. I would encourage students to challenge themselves not just for their own success, but to help provide resources for their communities and contribute to the vital infrastructure that humanity resides in. Being selected for the scholarship would be a step forward in becoming a skilled professional who can give back to my community whose helped me get to where I am today.
