As a senior in high school with a deep passion for computer science and business, I have dedicated myself to merging technology and entrepreneurship to create innovative solutions. My journey in coding began at a young age, and I have since honed my skills in developing systems and leading projects that make a tangible impact.
I am the founder of INVERT LLC, a company that places digital screens in storefront windows to display advertisements, benefiting both businesses and local communities. This entrepreneurial venture has allowed me to apply my technical skills and business acumen in real-world scenarios.
In addition to my entrepreneurial pursuits, I have been involved in several noteworthy projects and activities:
Developed a diabetic tracker to help patients consolidate their health data in one place.
Created various digital systems for my school, including a digital lunch menu and a digital PA system in the school lobby.
Participated in research at USC SHINE, gaining valuable insights into advanced scientific methodologies.
Active member of the Academy Group, where I engage with like-minded peers to foster innovation and leadership.
Serving as the ASB President, I lead student initiatives and represent my peers, enhancing my leadership and organizational skills.
My future aspirations include founding my own companies that leverage computer science to build wealth and give back to my community. I am aiming to attend university to further my education and expand my horizons in both technology and business.

I was in the sixth grade when I first realized that being a leader was my calling. Since then, I have refined my dream of owning and running my own technology company and have already begun executing it. My company, INVERT LLC, places digital screens in storefront windows that play advertisements to passerby. The funds made from advertisements allow us to place the screens in stores free of cost, and allow us to pay the store owners. Although being the CEO of INVERT may not be where I am twenty or even ten years from now, I know that being a leader is going to be a non-negotiable portion of my career in the future. Although I realize I am still a teenager and am free to change my mind, I believe achieving your dreams is something that requires drive and ambition that starts early on and continues indefinitely.
Type one diabetes has drastically affected my life. Since my diagnosis in 3rd grade, I would often have to leave class in the middle of instruction to check my blood sugar and drink some juice to correct a low blood sugar event or take some extra time to eat my lunch after taking my insulin. My condition posed a new set of obstacles to me, however creatively overcoming them is a challenge I embrace everyday.
In 8th grade, my blood sugar levels began to fluctuate erratically. This was because I was not covering my smaller snacks with adequate insulin and monitoring my blood sugar for changes. During the pandemic, these inconsistent blood sugars led to me having trouble focusing on my online classes, so I began to program to create a fix: a tool to consolidate all my blood sugar information from my CGM, calculate dosages, and display all my data in a graphical layout. After a few months of stumbling through hundreds of lines of code I finally had a working product. Being able to see all my diabetes information in one place gave me back a sense of control over my body, and I was able to make more confident decisions to manage my condition.
Although there are many negative aspects to living with type one diabetes, it has widened my horizons in many ways. For example, learning about the endocrine system in A.P. Biology my junior year allowed me to understand my condition on a deeper level and sparked an interest in learning how our bodies work that I had never noticed before in myself. Diabetes has taught me that no matter how intimidating an obstacle may seem, it is a rare opportunity to grow as a person by trying to overcome it.
I have had countless life experiences that show me the power computer science has to solve various problems in my life and in others' lives. I know regardless of what I do in the future, computer science will have had a drastic impact in the trajectory of my life.
