Bio

I am currently a fourth-year student at Indiana University majoring in finance through the Kelley School of Business to pursue a career in private wealth management. Alongside my studies, I work as a server at Pfau Golf Course for Upland Brewing Company, where I focus on providing a great dining experience and managing inventory efficiently. I'm also involved with Chi Omega, contributing to the Marketing Committee by helping boost our social media presence. Through Chi Omega, I've been able to grow my leadership skills while working closely with others. My hard work and dedication are shown through my active membership in the Hutton Honors College and my pursuit of both a technical and academic honors diploma. Moving forward, I’m excited to apply my skills and experiences to a career where I can make an impact through teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Option 3: Relationships play a defining role in both my personal life and the career I am pursuing in wealth management. At its core, this profession is built on trust. Clients are not just sharing numbers on a balance sheet; they are opening up about their goals, their values, their families, and the future they hope to create. Because of this, I believe the ability to form genuine, lasting relationships is one of the most important qualities an advisor can have. While technical knowledge is critical, trust is what allows an advisor to truly make an impact. It is earned through consistency, transparency, and authentic connection over time. My perspective on the importance of relationships was strengthened during my internship at UBS in the Wealth Advice Center. Throughout the summer, I saw firsthand that successful advisors are not defined solely by market knowledge or portfolio performance, but by the strength of the relationships they build with their clients. Many of the conversations I observed went far beyond investments. Advisors took the time to understand what mattered most to each client, whether that meant preparing for retirement, supporting children or grandchildren, navigating a major liquidity event, or planning the legacy they hoped to leave behind. Watching these interactions reinforced my desire to build a career centered on long-term partnership rather than transactional financial guidance. The internship also showed me that trust is built in the small moments. Simple actions such as following up promptly, remembering personal details, and communicating proactively demonstrated to clients that they were genuinely cared for. I realized that wealth management is just as much about emotional intelligence as it is about financial expertise. Clients want to feel heard, understood, and confident that their advisor is acting in their best interest. Seeing this dynamic in a professional setting confirmed that relationship building is not just a soft skill; it is the foundation of the entire profession and a responsibility I take seriously as I prepare for my future career. Personally, the relationships in my life continue to shape how I show up for others. Through friendships, mentorship, family connections, and romantic relationships, I have learned the importance of being dependable, communicating openly, and approaching situations with empathy. Romantic relationships in particular have taught me patience, mutual respect, and the value of truly listening to another person’s perspective. These lessons translate directly into my professional goals because every client comes with a unique story, set of priorities, and definition of success. Being able to recognize and honor those differences allows me to serve others in a way that feels personalized rather than transactional. As I look toward my long-term goals, I hope to build a career where clients view me as more than someone who manages their finances. I want to be a steady presence they can rely on during both exciting milestones and uncertain moments. Whether a client is starting a family, changing careers, preparing for retirement, or thinking about the legacy they want to leave, these decisions are deeply personal. My goal is to cultivate relationships that last for decades so that I can guide clients through each stage of life and adapt alongside their evolving priorities. Relationships also keep me grounded as I pursue ambitious professional goals. Having a strong support system reminds me that success is never achieved alone. The people who encourage me, challenge me, and hold me accountable continually push me to grow, and that growth ultimately makes me a stronger future advisor. It reinforces my commitment to putting people first in everything I do. Ultimately, I see relationship building as a lifelong value rather than just a professional skill. The qualities that define my personal relationships, authenticity, reliability, empathy, and integrity, are the same qualities I will bring into my career. My hope is that my reputation will be shaped by the strength of the relationships I build and the trust I earn over time. If I can positively impact the lives of the individuals and families I serve while walking alongside them through life’s most important moments, I will consider that the greatest measure of success.
