I am passionate about caring for animals and because of that, I strive to become a Veterinary Technician. It has been my career goal to work in the field of animal medicine since I was in middle school. I have always loved animals growing up and visiting Vet hospitals for my dog's checkups has always been an inspiration for me to be just like those skilled animals doctors and nurses. I come from a low-income Cambodian family, the youngest of four children, and a first-generation college student. I strive to represent my family and cultural background for my future to accomplish my goals and continue to be better for myself and my loved ones. I recently got accepted to Stanbridge University's Veterinary Technician Program where I'll have hands-on experience to properly care for and treat all kinds of animals. I consider this an amazing opportunity and I am grateful to have gotten accepted here. My focus now is to earn my Associate's Degree in Biology at Long Beach City College and transfer to Stanbridge University in the Fall of 2022. I have to take out a loan for my tuition fees so I am on Bold in hopes of earning money to pay for my school and train to become a registered vet tech with ease.
